Room had no window and even at night there was noise of locals in the staircase. For the price I shouldn’t complain though. But the plateau around the matrass was sticky. Reception warned me about leaving on foot at the first night. I guess when you need a place to sleep for a night then it is ok. Not for longer. I booked a different hotel and left after the first night.

I liked how amicable the staff were and you get a free coffee in the morning. Want I didn't like was that we need to slam the door to close it and that was annoying and disturbing. Hope they do something regard this.

Decent place for the budget travelers

Entering/exiting the hotel was a bit of hassle. Someone has to remotely open the security gate each/every time you enter/exit, and someone is not always in the pffice to buzz the gate open.

I paid for this stay through Orbitz. My credit card was charged. When I arrived at the hotel, they would not accept the receipt from Orbitz and they charged me again. I am requesting a refund for this night. I also rented a car through Orbitz and bought collision insurance through Orbitz. My credit card was charged $143. Costa Rica will not accept any insurance except government insurance so you sold me something that I could not use. I had to purchase more insurance at an inflated rate because of this.Please refund me this money back onto my credit card also.

Excellent value for the money

Arrived from New Zealand, I paid $25 online for my room, I arrived at 12 midnight. it was basic but clean in every way, 2 towels, soap, pillows and sheets perfect, bathroom / shower excellent and lashings of hot water, polite respectful receptionist, overall a great experience for the money, Metro is a 5 minute walk away Nothing fancy but well worth the money

It’s all part of the experience.

This hotel isn’t particularly close to anything, but clean and safe go a long way. Keep in mind that this place also rents BY THE HOUR! So if passionate, and extremely happy noises at all hours are going to put you off your breakfast, look elsewhere.
