Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Worst Stay i’ve ever had.
We were sold a ‘luxury seaside apartment’, there that was nothing short of filthy.
I’m not sure where to start.
On arrival you enter through a live kitchen, puddles of grease, cigarette butts, raw food, a shopping trolley full of waste and also strangers eating random meals all within the alley as you enter, that’s not how I pictured i’d start this stay. Not to mention the stench from the mix of live kitchens that gathers in the stairwell on the way up to the room is nothing short of disgusting, it lingers through the hall and into the room and you are greeted with it every time you enter the room. I have attached multiple photos below, that still does not do it justice.
As if this already wasn’t bad enough, mould. Everywhere. In the bathroom the ceiling is covered with it, it lingers around all of the windows. And there’s even mould on the window sill in the bedrooms, I don’t even know if that is legal? Once again there’s multiple photos below and that’s just the worst of it, i’m sure if you went digging there would be more.
And so far if this were not enough evidence to warrant a refund there was more problems with our stay, somehow. Rust everywhere in the bathroom, Filthy dishes in the cupboards meant we could not cook as well as the rusty toaster meant our food shop was useless. A disgusting tea towel, that looks like it’s been there all year with stains I don’t even want to think are from. A sponge in the draw which was so dirty I think the bin was cleaner.
