The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Bag all trash; place in trash receptacle in the blue shed outside; dump the recycling in the recycling receptacle in the blue shed. Wash and dry dishes; place them in the cupboard.
Be sure the back door is locked, all windows (including storm windows) are closed and locked, and the smart locks are locked. Leave slept-in beds unmade.
In the winter, turn heat to low in the kitchen and bathrooms; turn heat OFF in bedrooms (red mark on dial), turn fireplace OFF. In the summer, turn AC and fans off.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
