First of all, the location was super convenient. Close to the Metro, a lot of great restaurants, grocery, and other retail shops. <> All codes worked fine but the unit itself was initially tricky to access. It is actually in the courtyard in the back of the building. It is on the ground floor. The mailbox with the key says 7 but there is no apartment numbers. Also, no view. Upstairs window overlooks the roof (with cig butts), another apt. and construction scaffolding (noisy).
We were 3 people so needed to use the pull out sofa bed. The sofa was soiled, so we kept it as a bed the whole time we were there which made the space pretty crowded. We could not sit around the dining table together. The spiral staircase was visually nice but precarious to use and the upstairs bedroom and half bath (sink & shower) were nice. The downstairs bathroom had a sink, toilet and shower. The kitchen had pots/pans/bowls/plates/glasses/2 mugs, a sink, refrig/freezer, dishwasher, & washing machine and clothes drying rack. There was an outdoor area with four chairs and a low table with artificial grass flooring. The area had a lot of bird feathers, little strings and pieces of paper, and it had an exhaust from the air-conditioning from another unit which blew hot air into the area making it quite uncomfortable.
There were a lot of apps needed for this reservation: Expedia, VRBO, Pick-A-Flat, and Swikly. Very time consuming.
