The Albe Hôtel Saint-Michel is a perfect location for a wonderful boutique type hotel. It us located an easy 10 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and located off busy traffic streets. There are several restaurants in the immediate area. The hotel's breakfast room has a very attentive and friendly staff. The assortment of hot and cold food and quality was great. It offers a nicely balanced selection of freshly prepared hot and cold foods - dried cereals, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, lunchen meats/ cheeses muffins, breads, juices etc. A selection of hot tea was available as well as a self-serve coffee machine offering several choices of fresh coffee. My favorite was the decaff cappuccino. Regular was also available. You simply press the button of your choice, and within a few seconds you have a fresh hot cup of coffee. Our room overlooked the street we walked to the cathedral and did have very active pedestrian activety during the day. However, the window in our room was totally effective in blocking out sound. We were out of the room most of the day sightseeing anyway. Our room was cleaned very nicely and efficiently every day. Our twin beds were very comfortable and the bed linens were very cozy. The bathroom was very nice and included electric towel warmers which also helped dry simple hand laundry. I would highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful, friendly staff also.

Location is perfect, the nearby station has a lift at exit 6 so it was very convenient to get around with luggage. Very close to several tourist attractions, so the area is always busy with good food options. The only issue with the location is that because it’s busy, at night it can get very noisy and it can be difficult to sleep. Soundproofing the rooms would have been helpful. I could definitely hear people from nearby rooms, upstairs and downstairs when they were walking around. Room was clean with a balcony, the pillows could be better as they were too soft for my liking. It would have been nice to have some disposable slippers in the room but I understand they are operating environmentally friendly. I enjoyed my stay at Albe Hotel and would definitely stay again for the location.

I liked that it has a great location and it is walkable to the metro and attractions, such as the Notre Dame. However, a drawback of the location is that at night, the streets were a bit noisy.

Noisy

Unfortunately I think we had the worst room in the hotel, it looked nothing like the pictures on here. It was tired and it showed. It was also VERY noisy at night with the bars outside and partying people till 5am. The windows did not block any sound and the trickle vent was broken shut open, so it amplified the noise from outside. Would not recommend if you like sleep.

This was a lovely hotel nicely situated. It was a few minutes from the Seine and NotreDame so is very walkable for other spots. The Metro is a minute away. There are loads of eateries- including a fantastic bakery a stone’s throw away from the hotel. The room itself was basic- but clean bathroom, comfy bed and kettle and fridge. I would definitely stay there again

Nice hotel right in the centre of all the tourist attractions and close to lots of great restaurants and boulangeries. The only downside was that it was a little noisy - could hear guests through the walls and banging doors, but apart from that would recommend it.

We had a delightful stay at Hotel Albe. The room was spotlessly clean, big comfy beds, friendly staff and a good breakfast. We are already looking forward to our return in July! Highly recommend.

I had identified this property on a prior Paris visit, and sought it out for the location, near public transportation and in the bustling Latin Quarter filled with walkable restaurants and charm. The staff was accomodating. Would recommend. As a solo traveler, my room was very small but tolerable.
