The only positive about this apartment is the location.
Our stay was seriously affected by a massive water leak in the basement room on the first night, which flooded the entire floor. This was not only unacceptable but also DANGEROUS, as there were plugged-in electrical devices on the floor (lamp, heater, washer, etc.). The water also damaged some of our belongings that were left on the floor in paper bags.
I contacted management every single day about the leak. Nothing was done. After the first day, they simply stopped responding altogether. We were left to manage the flood consequences on our own. I was never informed whether anyone assessed or repaired the leak, nor was I given any explanation for its cause or compensation.
Additional issues during our stay:
• No Wi-Fi at all, despite daily emails to management
• No cell phone coverage in the basement, making communication even more difficult
• Lukewarm water in the shower
• Microwave not working
• The leaking wall is covered in black mold, emits an unpleasant odor, and appears to be a recurring issue
- A “surprise” request of €300 deposit the day before check in or check in instructions will not be given.
Overall, this was a very frustrating and unsafe experience with poor responsiveness from management. I would not recommend staying here.
