Initial entrance to building not very attractive.the apartment was warm and inviting, but the loft bed was a bit difficult to maneuver. You to be VERY careful not to bump head. Well equipped with everything you needed for a stay.Balcony was small but pleasant for two people to sit and have a coffee or afternoon wine, etcVery convenient to bus, metro, and and any shopping needed!!

Great location in the LQ. Samira was helpful, very responsive, and accommodating. Knows the area very well and provided good recommendations for places to eat. As another reviewer said, staying here is a very Parisian experience. Couple things to be aware of: Apartment is on the smallish side but nothing crazy. Bathroom is laid out a bit differently - sink and shower in one room, toilet across the apartment in its own separate (very small) room. And the place is very lived in -- lots of books, crammed with other things. But we just used it mainly for sleeping as we wsere gone most all the days.

We enjoyed the charm of the apartment as it felt like we were experiencing the true Parisian way of living. It rained during our visit and our sons enjoyed watching the storm in the roof window upstairs. The apartment is also very close to great restaurants, markets, bakeries, and attractions! And we found Samira to be very responsive and kind.

Cute apartment, excellent location

This was a beautiful apartment tucked away in a quiet part of town. The apartment had everything we needed from comfortable beds, a coffee maker for the morning, and fans to keep cool on the hotter days.The location is excellent, though it took us a minute to find it. Easy access to busses and the metro just a couple blocks away. Rue Mouffetard is just around the corner with many cute shops and restaurants.The hosts were kind and accommodating and responsive to communication through the VRBO app. I would definitely stay here again if my family and I find our way to Paris in the future.

Nice Location but a lot of other issues.

Overall, I would not stay here again. It was very small for 5 people and I would not recommend any more than 4. Pros‱Nice location, close to markets, grocery and restaurants‱Not too far from the metro‱Nice balcony, with lovely plants. ‱Beds were comfortableCons‱Dirty. Floors and bedside shelf dirty and stained. There was hair in the shower as well. ‱She lives here. We felt very uncomfortable when we realized that this was her home and that she was leaving while we were there. The whole stay felt awkward.‱The glass in the shower to keep the water off the floor was too small and despite adjusting the shower head it was difficult not to get water on the floor. She did tell me where I could get more towels and mats to mop up the water. ‱The shower had mold in the grout and on the ceiling. ‱The blinds in the bedroom were opaque and let in a lot of light. When the sun is up early it’s impossible to sleep in.‱Very little check in instructions about what to do once you got there. ‱The loft space is very little headroom, if you are a little bit tall you will not be able to stand up straight. ‱Limited space to plug in charges, with a family of 5 and all our phones and batteries and tablets we struggled for enough plug ins.

Awesome area, great stay for a couple!

You can’t get any more local than this. 3 minute walk to subway. Great place to walk around, Notre Dame within a walkable distance. But older adults need to be aware that stairs to 2nd floor apartment are super narrow and steep! Bathroom accommodations can be a little awkward, bathroom is in the bedroom.

Living in style on the left bank

I fully expected to enjoy my visit to Paris. All of my friends who visited had good things to say about it. But I am sure that my visit was greatly benefited by my stay in these fine premises. In the first place they are exceptionally well located, a little more than one block from Marche Mouffetard. There you can get anything you might wish to eat. There is a fish-monger, a butcher shop, a liquor store, a wine shop, plenty of green grocers, a really excellent bakery and many places to eat. It could not be more convenient. It is 4 blocks away from a metro stop. Many apartments in Paris tend to be tiny. We found this one to be perfectly adequate. We were not constantly running into each other. My wife liked to sit out on the balcony in the quiet of the morning. Although it is so close to everything, it was not noisy. Although the kitchen is small, it has everything you are likely to need. The hostess was exceptionally kind and gracious. When our flight arrived earlier than anticipated, she was kind enough to let us enter early. When we had trouble with the coffee maker, she sent her niece who not only fixed it but left us some coffee to use. It is hard to imagine a kinder or more accommodating hostess.If the future is kind enough to allow me to visit Paris again, this is where I will stay.

Awesome location!

We stayed for 4 nights. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. It's very close to the metro, many restaurants, and a wonderful market with fresh produce. The neighbors in the adjacent building were a little loud at night on theweekend.

Amazing! Family already wants to stay there :)

The apartment truly was magnificent! The location was terrific - lovely restaurants, cafes and patisseries nearby, residential neighborhood and easy access to Paris by Metro or walking. The apartment itself was lovely - the kids LOVED the loft bed and the balcony was great for a nap. I have nothing but praise for how communicative and kind Souliah was. Great place for a family with two kids!

A perfect home away from home in Paris

We loved this apartment! The accommodations were ideal for our family of 5 (two parents, three children ages 13, 11, and 8). Samira was very friendly, kind, and communicative, and the apartment was just as described in the listing. The location was great - right around the corner from so many food options and action on Rue Mouffetard. It was an easy walk into the city center; the Censier-Daubenton Metro stop is less than five minutes' walk from the apartment as well. We would not hesitate to stay again on a return visit to Paris.

Wonderful apartment in the Latin Quarter!

My family and I stayed at this apartment for our Christmas holiday. The location is perfect, and our host was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone who would like to get the real feel of a Parisian apartment. It’s within walking distance to rue Mouffetard.

Truly Quartier Latin vibes !!!

On top of its very nice inner features, the apartment is perfectly located in the heart of the mythic ''fifth'' district of Paris at walking distance of Rue Mouffetard, Jardin des plantes and related Museums, Pantheon, Quartier Latin, Notre Dame and Paris Mosque, and many other iconic spots...plenty of nice restaurants around as well as Street food shops (Bibani Pizza around the corner is just incredible). Last but not least, our host Samira has been extremely kind and available for supporting us during our stay. We were 6 persons (2 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 kid) and the accommodation was perfectly fitting to our needs. We can only warmly recommend !

Un petit bijou!

Ce petit appartement est génial! Situé sur une rue tranquille, à 2 pas de tout! On y sent la personnalité de sa propriétaire ce qui en fait un lieu charmant et agréable à vivre. Il est dit dans l'annonce que c'est pour 6 personnes. Nous étions 5 et je crois que pour 4 serait plus juste. Il y a bien possibilité de dormir pour 6, mais coté intimité, je crois que 6 occupants est beaucoup de monde dans ce petit espace. J'y retournerais sans hésitation et à ma prochaine visite à Paris, ce sera mon 1er choix!!! Merci à Samira!
