Very clean, modern, newly built property located right next to the underground Metro station (35-40 min train from Paris central). Room size is very spacious for Europe. Big beds and very friendly staff. Public transportation Travel tip from Gare du Nord: - If you plan on coming to this property from Gare du Nord, I don't recommend taking the Green (D) line train because you will have to walk quite a bit from the drop-off at St Denise, especially with luggage. - Instead, you are better off taking the purple line + Bus (255) which will drop you right outside the property.

Hotel H4 in Paris offers a fantastic stay with spacious, clean rooms that provide plenty of comfort. The staff truly stands out for being very helpful and attentive to guests' needs. Breakfast is excellent, offering a variety of delicious options to start your day. Additionally, the Skyline Bar was a major hit, providing stunning views and a great ambiance for relaxing or socializing. Long wait to check in, reception personnel appeared depresssed with no smile to be found. Should have better direction to find the right elevator for our room. Many looked very confused beside us. The facilities are very undersized for this hotel. Could not use bar and restaurent or pool unless you booked ahead. Never seen that in a hotel with this star rating. Seems like DEI hiring. The hotel location is quite squelchy. Room was very spacious and clean and quiet. Difficult to find a good restaurent outside.

What I’d like to suggest is to mention if a room has an open bath. I had booked a room for me and my mother and we discovered at the hotel room that our bath is an open one. Meaning there’s no privacy and one of us had to turn around so that the other may have a sense of “privacy” while showering. They don’t mention that you have to insert the room key (card) on an adapter to turn on the lights and AC. You also cannot open windows as they are sealed shut, so no fresh air. Otherwise, everything else was good.

Positive: there is a metro station across the street. Big and nice rooms/bathrooms. Staff is very helpful, the guy at the reception letted me go to my room before the check in. I was soooo tired, THANK YOU! Small restaurant and bakery accross the street. Negative: far from the tourist area, uber/taxis $20-$30. The area around doesn't look safe during the night time. Hotel is great! And the Bar too!

I had paid in full for my stay and once I had arrived they told me they gave my room away and there were no rooms available. This happened to the girl next to me as well. It was soon revealed that they had done this to 10+ customers as they had sent us all to the same hotel “temporarily” whilst they ‘prepared’ our rooms. Not sure how this hotel is running. Absolutely disgusting treatment and nil communication. Once I had arrived after my 24 hour travel day, They told me to leave and come back in and hour, so I did. They then told me to wait whilst they called the Novotel to secure a room for me. They apparently confirmed a room for me but upon arrival the concierge had said they never confirmed with the H4 that they had rooms for me. The h4 had sent myself, a young solo female traveller to another hotel in a dodgy area of the city, had to pay the full stay, no compensation, no communication after the fact. Absolutely disgusting, this hotel is a scam. I am warning all future clientele to not even consider this hotel. I will be requesting full refund and compensation for the out of pocket expenses I had to pay for emergency accommodation.
