overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel as the staff was very polite and helpful. I felt safe in this hotel as they locked their front door and could only enter by buzzing in. the problem with the hotel was that it did not have elevators and air condition. It was very hot at night and sleeping was a problem.

Clean, cheap and no frills. The pictures on the site are more glamorous than the actual hotel. But the staff was super nice, extremely helpful and I would recommend the place on their hospitality alone.

Great value

24hr check in is very helpful since we arrive very late. It's 5min walk from the nearby metro station (picpus on Line6). Neighborhood seems safe and mostly local lives there. Very quiet at night. Great value, but always need metro to go around town!

Nice Hotel

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood in the outskirts of Paris. It's only a short walk to the local shops and markets. The room and all public areas of the hotel are clean and nice. The staff are friendly. There is easy transportation by bus or metro to anywhere in Paris you'd like to go. They offer a breakfast if you desire that. There is no elevator, so that is something you should consider.

Nice enough hotel

I enjoyed staying in the Bel Air. It was a simple place. Two floors but there was no elevator, and the staircase was narrow and winding (so not good for all). Wifi worked o.k. in room.

Hotel was what I expected after reading reviews

This hotel was in a convenient location. However, you must get off the train at the de vinecennes stop. It is the yellow line. The bathroom was small but that was expected. The front desk help speaks english well enough to give directions and I found all of them to be very helpful. I was in Paris for three days and this hotel suited my purpose because I was there to see sights and not spend a great deal of time in my room. Also, my room had a private bath but you need to make certain before booking because I did see what appeared to be a common shower. When considering everything for the price I would stay here again.

reasonable hotel in paris

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, willing to give you suggestions on where to get good meals. Neighborhood not too noisy located in 12th arrondisement, metro close by. Breakfast available for €9.50 but didn't use it. Staff didn't pressure you to purchase it. I would stay again at this hotel. We had a triple room, tight quarters as usual for Paris. No elevator or air conditioning though

Great location.

Excellent hotel, it's in an quiet part of Paris and the rooms are actually quite big by Paris standards too. The hotel is also located right next to a metro station that goes directly to the Eiffel tower. 10/10 it's ok.

The service was bad as there is no elevator and being an elderly person asked for assistance with my suitcase up the steps and did get it after much pursuasion. I was terrified of the location and the cleanliness surrounding the hotel. For the price the room was extremely small.

As an affordable location, this hotel is lower cost than some of the others in the area. Only 2 blocks from the Metro stop, albeit either down stairs or a bit of a roundabout path. The staff were courteous and helpful. The room itself was .... small. A single bed with perhaps 1/2 a meter space on each side, barely enough to walk. The bathroom was apparently designed based on one of the spaceships - there is no space. A person who is not thin might have trouble squeezing past the sink to sit on the commode. For a single person, this is an uncomfortable room. For 2 ... I hope you are VERY close friends.

Nice hotel for short stay

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood just a few minute walk away from the metro station Porte de Vincennes. It felt like a safe neighborhood, even in the evening. As expected from Paris, the room could not be called spacious, but it was comfortable and had a good bed. However, the bathroom was super tiny and felt tight - even for a petite person like me (5 feet tall).

Reasonable quality 3-star, fair price.

Booked at the last minute over Easter, so the prices were understandably inflated, but for what you get for a 3-star Hotel it wasn't bad. Good access to the area, not far from the Metro, 3 stops from Vincennes. Staff were friendly. Not all talked English, but were willing to help. Facilities were basic, though the shower head was a bit broken and didn't drain very well, still, it was clean.

Good value , reasonable quality and location

Good value for budget-restrained travelers. Near main Metro subway line. Easy access to Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, Notre Dame, and Champs-Elysses via line. Desk personnel have limited English skills but made up for it with effort.

Amazing budget friendly, clean, pretty hotel.

It was a lovely hotel, well maintained and obviously recently renovated. Staff all spoke English and were friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept immaculate, they were very small in size but the space was well used. The hotel is near two major tube lines that allows for easy access to all of the major Paris attractions, in addition to being very physically close to some very quaint restaurants and patisseries. Overall a lovely hotel and we had a great stay.
