This is a very small, basic hotel. If all you need is a place to sleep it’s done, but it is quite a distance from everything in Paris, zero dining options inside the hotel, other than a buffet breakfast (which was adequate), they will not even allow you to bring in food and dine on the patio. Handful of restaurants nearby but were infrequently open. Staff was quite rude and unhelpful. Housekeeping was not up to par at all. Fresh towels every day but not new coffee cups or water glasses. Stingy with the low budget instant coffee for the rooms. Overall I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who is coming to Paris for the first time.

I had a nice stay in Magellan hotel with my son. When i arrived in the hotel the receptionist told me that they upgraded my room and was very happy about it. They have a very good breakfast as well. The place is very clean and accessible to metro, bus and everything. I would to stay here again and recommend it to my friends
