As others have metioned, the single room is extremely small. But that said, I was pretty comfortable overall. I don't need a lot of extra pampering when I travel as I tend to only use my room for sleep and showering. I was able to keep my suitcase on the unused side of the bed (as there was nowhere else to put it). Bathroom was also small, but fully functional. I never turned on the small TV so I can't really attest to its usefulness. I was thrilled to have a large window that could be fully opened. It faced a rear courtyard and I left it open the entire week I was in Paris. My 4th floor room was very quiet at night. No noise from the courtyard. Front desk staff were helpful and courteous. I did not opt for the breakfast as there are countless restaurants, cafes, and bakeries in the neighborhood. I did frequently use the filtered water dispenser and the free coffee machine in the lobby daily. Neighborhood is fantastic for food and drink. I had three fantastic meals at restaurants on that single block alone.

The front desk staff gave off a little aura that we were bothering them. The carpet in the halls was dingy, but the room itself was very nice and clean. The location was great.

Staff was amazing. Hotel is adorable and in a great location. Breakfast was just ok. Cleaning service person was on the rude side, wouldn’t move her supplies in order for us to get through the very small hallway. Wouldn’t respond to our hellos or good mornings. Front desk staff was amazing.

Pretty average hotel with OK, small rooms but you can hear everything that is going on in neighboring rooms. Very walkable. Not much of anything spectacular as a hotel, but not bad either.

Cute but small hotel

A Cozy Corner in Montmartre: Korner Hotel Review My husband and I recently enjoyed a very positive stay at the Korner Hotel in the charming Montmartre district of Paris. For the price, we found it to be a genuinely great value and a comfortable base for exploring the city. The moment you step in, the reception area feels open and modern. One of the hotel’s most thoughtful touches is the generous all-day offering of free tea, coffee, and water, alongside delicious pain au chocolat and croissants. It's a small detail that makes a big difference when popping back in from a long day of sightseeing. The staff here truly shine—they are incredibly friendly and helpful. We were immediately impressed when the gentleman checking us in voluntarily changed our room from the ground floor to the 3rd floor, noting that the higher rooms offered a better experience. Our room, while small (as is typical for central Paris!), was perfectly adequate for the two of us, with plenty of room to move around. It was well-equipped with practical features like chargers on each side of the bed, places to hang clothes, a desk, and a TV. We noted there was no safe or air conditioning, but as we visited in September, neither was an issue for us. The most important thing was the sleep quality: the bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was wonderfully soft, ensuring we both slept soundly every night.

The staff and the location were great. The rooms look smart and modern but my first room had flies in the bathroom and bedroom so I was moved the next day. My second room had cracked floors and a cracked shower tray. You could hear the drains dripping and flushing all night from the shower plug so I closed the bathroom door. When I opened it each morning the bathroom smelt of sewage. As it was on the ground floor, the walls were thin and the corridor doors were kept open, so I was woken in the morning by other guests moving around/having breakfast. Whilst the staff were lovely and it looks great as you walk in, for these reasons, I wouldn’t stay again.

Safe, clean, and comfy

When traveling as a solo woman, I’m looking primarily for safety, cleanliness, good location, and comfort in my accommodations. This place had all of that. It is not fancy, but it had all of the modern amenities, was in an excellent location for seeing the main sites, and felt very safe and secure. I felt I got great value for the price and would stay again.

Unsafe and unprofessional – avoid at all costs

We booked Korner Hotel for a family trip to Paris and Disneyland with our 8- and 10-year-old children, hoping for joy after the recent loss of their grandfather. Instead, it turned into a nightmare. On arrival, we were given a damp, moldy basement room. I have acute asthma, and within minutes I was struggling to breathe and reaching for my inhaler. The receptionist promised we would be moved to a safer room later in our stay, but when the day came, a different receptionist (Masha) flatly denied any responsibility. She dismissed our concerns about health risks, refused to provide management’s details, and repeatedly accused us of being “aggressive” for simply trying to show our booking details on a passport. Her behaviour escalated to shouting, then she called the police and locked us and our crying children out of the hotel late at night. We had to scramble to find another hotel at midnight, paying €115 extra, after a full day in Disneyland. This hotel not only failed to provide a safe room, it showed shocking disregard for guest wellbeing and basic professionalism. Our children were left traumatised and in tears. For anyone with health conditions or simply wanting a safe and respectful stay in Paris: do not book this hotel.

The best part-LOCATION-The location of this property was fantastic for short walks to the Metro and Sacre Couer. There are many restaurant options nearby. And there is a laundromat just around the corner (if you pack light for long trips like we do) The rooms at the hotel are very small-but we didn’t mind. We weren’t there to spend time in our rooms. And if you are not used to the European size single bed, be ready. I’m 5’9” and my feet hung over. Overall, I would stay here again.
