Good for a short stay

For people flying in from the US, this hotel works great as the check in time is noon, so you can come right from the airport and drop your bags. The staff was great and our room had been recently renovated. Rooms are very small and, for me, would only work for a short stay. But the neighborhood is great and is close to Gare Montparnasse.

The staff were lovely and helpful. The air conditioner was not as cool as we thought it could be. Had it on the lowest temperature (19C) and high fan but still couldn’t feel the air movement. So during the hot spell the room didn’t cool down a lot.

The hotel is very clean and the staff were very friendly. There were restaurants and a small grocery store very close by. The only downside we had is that the AC did not work the greatest so the room would get hot and stuffy. We did open the window at times when it was cooler outside but couldn’t leave open overnight as there was some street noise that would wake us. I also found the beds very firm and my old hips and back were not always happy in the morning. The mattresses also tended to slide off the bed so we were constantly adjusting them. The metro was about a 15 minute walk. Overall good value for the price.

OK Ibis but have experienced better

We love staying at Ibis, but this location has unfortunately been our least favorite to date. As usual Ibis offers a great breakfast spread and it's always the highlight of our stays. It's consistently good with friendly and helpful staff! However, in this location there were a few mornings where the breakfast hall was bursting at the seams. It seemed a large group travelling together were all having breakfast at the exact same time. The rooms at this location are extremely small. But with time you'll get used to it. The shower is not accessible as it's raised by about a foot. Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues or the elderly. There is air conditioning, and even when it works, as in our case it often stopped working and needed to be reset - once through the main panel by the hotel management, the bed can feel hot and stifling. My advice, stay at this hotel outside of summer heat periods. If you think the rooms are small, you'll be surprised by the size of the singular extra small elevator. It can fit 1 adult and 1 large suitcase or 2 adults with 1 or 2 small carry-on. Expect to take the stairs often. When you get to your floor you'll be immediately greeted by your hotel room door. It's that small. Despite all its quirks we enjoyed our stay and the neighbourhood. The vibe was great with many delicious restaurant options nearby. Also the metro and RER are all conveniently located nearby.

Un bon établissement au calme des grands axes parisiens et facilement accessible. Accueil professionnel et courtois. Attendez-vous au minimum de surface au niveau de la chambre. Juste pour dormir cela suffira. Pour un séjour repos, la chambre allouée ne suffit pas en terme de surface. Problème de chauffage sur la première nuit qui a été résolu avec un convecteur d'appoint, mais le système n'a pas été réparé durant le séjour qui a été de 4 jours (Résa hôtels.com collée avec une résa ALL.com) La chambre qui est prête à notre arrivée, est mise à disposition avant l'horaire annoncée : Merci pour ce geste commercial. Petit déjeuner top avec un grand choix de produits.
