The premises have a very unique historical feel, as this apartment used to be the workshop of printer P. Mouillot, one of Victor Hugo's main printers during his lifetime. At the time, the printing machines were sizeable and only fit in the kind of places with high ceilings. Victor Hugo himself must have climbed up the stairs to the apartment to discover his novels being printed.

The apartment includes a spacious living room, a dining room with seating for 10, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is one shared bathroom with a shower (no WC), three private bathrooms attached to the bedrooms, and two separate WCs for added convenience.

The building does not have an elevator, and the apartment is accessible via stairs on the first floor. This detail adds to its historical character but may not suit those with mobility concerns.
