Great location for our base camp as we explored Paris! The apartment was roomy enough for the two of us and the neighborhood was great. We were close enough to walk to dozens (maybe hundreds) of great cafes and restaurants. some of the major attractions like The Louvre and Notre Dame were also walkable depending on how much you like to walk. We are active fifty-somethings and we were fine. Other times we would we would take a cab or Uber out to Montmartre or the Champs Elysees and cafe hop our way home. This is a really nice placebto stay to explore a beautiful city.

Unfortunately, the apartment we booked had no working internet, which we were not informed of prior to arrival. However, Cobblestone Management worked with us, moving us to a very nice apartment in the same neighborhood with working internet. They were also very communicative regarding the Paris strike during our visit. The new apartment was 5 stars…clean, internet, easy access to Metro, Bata-bus, dining, etc, making our stay thoroughly enjoyable!

A nice place to stay

We enjoyed having more space than hotel room, the bed comfortable, my negative was not having any view outside or sitting area outside. All windows are air shafts. The towels smelled of mildew and the toilet room could use air freshener. The kitchen nicely equipped with coffee, detergent for washer and dishwasher.

Excellent Marais location!

Stayed here (3 adults)-took my parents on their first trip to Paris! The apartment is in a great location-easily accessible by nearby metro stops. Property was accurately described. My parents took the bedroom, I used the pullout-which was comfortable for me as I am an average/smaller female. Pullout could work for 2 kids but probably would be too small for 2 adults especially if they are larger/taller. Would not hesitate to book again!

Suberb, Attentive Service from Vrbo/Cobblestone Paris

Rue des Gravilliers is an Excellent Parisian venue located in a great and interesting neighborhood with terrific restaurants (Datil is next door!) and with easy access to safe, clean, efficient public transit (bus, Metro, RER, etc.). When my stay here was unfortunately cut short by a burst pipe on a higher floor of the building housing the superb apt., the local Paris contacts (Cobblestone) did an absolutely impeccable and commendable job moving me promptly to another one of their great apts. in the same quarter of Paris. Their diligence and evident care made my Paris visit perfect!

Fantastic Location & Very Comfortable

This is a perfect Paris Experience. Our host was there to greet us and hand over the keys. It was a very personal experience and could reach the host if we needed any guidance. Other than our host, the agency that manages this property (Cobberstone), are super responsive and very through in their communication and detailing. Super Impressed with our host and the agency. We got a great offer with a wonderful bottle of wine, chocolates and tickets for a 1-Hour boat ride for the family. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need to make the stay comfortable. We are a family of 4 adults and this place suited us very well. Transport from here is very easy with multiple Metro stations connecting you to almost all parts of the city. There are lovely retail, grocery and coffee shops all around. (You have the world's cuisine to choose from here). Will come here again.

Very private & quiet on first floor. (Only one flight up.) Check in was easy. Housekeeper let us in as early as she could & was much appreciated! We had to be at graduation by 4. Roomy for Paris standards. Loved that the bathtub/shower was separate from the toilet. Only draw back was the tub was hard to get in and out of.

Stayed here during the Olympics. The apartment was easily accessible from the metro and is in a great area. The host was easy to contact. They even made special arrangements for 2 additional tickets for a boat ride on the Seine. Got us some welcome gifts. They even took care of our special requests to have two portable fans for days that were extremely hot. The location of the apartment is just unbeatable with so much to do in Le Marais! Such a vibrant neighborhood.

Wonderful place to stay

The apartment was lovely, cozy and relaxing. In the morning, we enjoyed the wafting smells of the restaurant downstairs. The neighborhood was great, walking distance from everything. Nadia was super welcoming, she met us down the street and helped us find our way, and was available to answer any questions that came up. Can't wait to return to our little place in Paris! 👨‍🎨

Very nice place

The place is exactly as shown. Communication with host was easy. quick and helpful. Location is perfect, very close to the subway. Market, cafe and restaurant on a short walking distance. The only thing that you have to know is that there is a restaurant under the apartment and when it closes around 11 pm, you can here when they clean. But afterall, we recommand the place, we were very satisfied. Safe place.

Perfect location for a true Parisian apartment

Responsive hosts

While the hosts were very accommodating and responsive, the apt is not as it appears. What looks like a view out to a natural atrium above the couch is, in fact, a plastic trellis and tired plastic flowers in an air shaft. This apartment has no natural light, as all of the windows look out to air shafts, and therefore the apartment is not bright. The location is good and the apartment is well-supplied with utensils,etc. for cooking. The coffee maker is electric…no press pot.

A perfect apartment in a perfect location

I have rented several apartments through VRBO and this was by far one of my best experiences. First off, the owner/manager of the property could not have been more responsive or professional, from our very first communication. And the apartment itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, well equipped, and in a perfect location. It’s on a quiet street within minutes of major streets and metro(s) to go anywhere you’d want to go. I walked everywhere. Will try and stay here again next time I’m in Paris.

Really great find in the Marais.

This apartment is very conveniently located and within walking distance of so many wonderful places in Central Paris. Just walk up one flight of stairs and you’re in a great little spot with everything you need for a marvelous stay in the City of Light. Really nice layout with a spacious bathroom and updated kitchen. It even has a separate bedroom with cupboards and a dresser. We loved being able to come home and enjoy a glass of wine and sit on the sofa while we discussed our adventures of the day. Although we didn’t cook any meals, we did have coffee, yogurt and cereal every morning before we set out for the day. We also really appreciated being met by our Cobblestone rep who gave us a thorough overview and even some tips about what we could see nearby. We will always treasure the memories of our stay and this great apartment is one of the reasons why.
