Great location with very easy access to many museums, restaurants, metro, etc., it is a spacious 1 bedroom on the 4th floor (5th by US standards) but elevator works well and the apartment is well equipped. There is a lot of noise from the street ( vehicles and people) so earplugs are recommended. Also some people may find the common areas of the building dirty and old. I enjoyed my one month stay!

Springtime in Paris

The apartment was perfect for us. It was in a great location and we walked to the Louvre, the Orsay, the Latin Quarter and the Pantheon. The bathroom is small, but adequate, and it does get noisy from the street below. None of that bothered us and we had a lovely stay. We would definitely book again.

Comfortable little apt, excellent location

For just the two of us, the apartment was perfect. As expected for a place so centrally located, it was small and cozy with a nice sized bedroom and plenty of closet space for our clothes. The washer/dryer in the kitchen was also very helpful. The neighborhood has personality and is within walking distance of a number of restaurants, attractions, and Metro stations or bus stops. We had a wonderful time!

Nice place, wonderful location

I spent three weeks in the apartment, which was perfectly located for what I wanted to do. That included several mornings at the Louvre, a short walk across the river. Plenty of restaurants, movie theatres and lovely shops. I found the bed quite comfortable. Georges was very helpful.

Overall, the property was excellent and the location superb for Paris St Germain. The door lock was a bit tricky but with practice was usable. Instructions for the washer/dryer would have been useful. Didn't appreciate the attempted shakedown for an extra 60 euros in cash to book into the unit on a Sunday afternoon.

Comfortable Stay in Good Location

We had a very comfortable stay at this property. Georges was very responsive from the beginning and usually responded within a very short time to any questions we had. He was also very accommodating in allowing us to come by the property early to drop off our bags and pick up keys - for which we were grateful. The apartment was bright and sunny and very clean. The kitchen had all the amenities needed for simple, stovetop meals, the bed (less so, the pillows) was very comfortable, and there was a lot of storage. The bathroom was, of course, small, but clean and functional. We didn’t hear a sound from any other tenants or the hallways. The location was good; the bar on the corner did not serve haute cuisine but was great fun to hang out in. There was also a boulangerie, a grocery store, and shop with gourmet prepared foods nearby. The only minor issues were that we found the common areas, though pretty clean, quite dark and tired (though I’ve come to learn this is common for old Paris apartment buildings). This in no way affected our stay - just took us aback when we first entered the building. And as other reviewers have stated, the apartment is on a busy, rather noisy street. Closing the windows blocks some of the sounds of the traffic but by no means all of it. The only other things I’d wish for: a soap dish in the shower and one more roll of toilet paper. :-) We would certainly consider staying in this apartment again.

Challenging

We have been staying in apartments in Paris for the last 16 years and this was not a great experience. The communal areas of the building were very dirty. We arrived home one afternoon to find our door open and a strange man in the apartment! He was taking measurements but we had absolutely no idea who he was and had not given permission for any one to enter our apartment. It was very unsettling from then on when we went out. Giorgio had sent an email that day requesting entry with our permission which arrived at 1.02pm, when we were out, and I hadn’t read my emails. I accessed my emails every morning for work purposes. It also stated that he would be there while this person was in the apartment. He was not there! I am horrified that there is no security when you rent an apartment . We have used Stayz for staying in Nice previously, but will not feel comfortable using again.

Perfect location

There could not be a better location. Very close to the Seine, the Carousel bridge which goes immediately to the Louvre, Tuileries gardens, and Orangerie art museum. A short walk downriver takes you to the Orsay, fabulous art museum. Just upriver is the Arts pedestrian bridge, the best place to sit on a bench and watch the boats and barges go by. The neighborhood is full of cafes and restaurants, patisseries and shops. The apartment is on the fifth floor with an adequate elevator. The rooms are cosy and comfortable and the kitchen well furnished. We booked for a month and never ran out of things to do. Paris is wonderful. The busses and Metro will serve you well.

Fantastic location parisian apartment

This charming apartment is very walkable to many sites, museums, restaurants, shops and the Seine is at the end of the street. There are Metro stations and buses close by for easy access to other areas as well. The rooms are spacious for a Paris rental and the kitchen includes a washer. Giorgio is a good host as well. I stayed for two weeks-had everything I needed and loved the neighborhood.

Perfect Location

Perfect location, very walkable to major sites and metro stop close by. Great coffee shop and two excellent restaurants just around the corner. (Restaurant au 35 and Le Pre aux Clercs) Very comfortable apartment for the two of us. Older building, 4th floor but with elevator. Fun to imagine all the people who have lived there over the years.

A Parisian apartment in a great location

My wife and I had an great stay in this wonderful apartment in Paris. The apartment itself was perfect for two people and you could not ask for a better location. We were in walking distance of cafes, museums, the Metro and shops. The sights and sounds of Paris abound! The bed is very comfortable and the pull out couch comfortable as well. Check in was not as planned Tod noon and when arrived, told 3:00. Was told would be called when apartment was cleaned. No call and we then called and at 1:40 told apartment ready we had a 6:55AM flight and had to wait outside building 20 min to have luggage taken to be stored Leak in kitchen ceiling, 1 too paper towel for week stay No hand soap in bathroom only 2 rolls of toilet paper. No instructions where to purchase, throw trash etc,
