Set in perhaps the greenest neighbourhood in Paris, this effortlessly exquisite home in the 16th arrondissement seeks to bring the outside in. Set on the second floor, descend a few flights of stairs or take the lift to find yourself in one of Paris’ most prized areas, straddling the Seine to the east and the gorgeous Bois de Boulogne to the west.

LIVING & DINING AREA
From the décor to the light fittings, this sun-drenched space is singularly impressive. Enter the living area and be greeted with two large, plush white sofas surrounding a simple but elegant fireplace mounted by a large mirror. Lounge with a book in the sun or move along to the impressive dining space with room for six. Here, a statement wall is covered with beautiful wallpaper depicting a serene tropical scene.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is very well-placed to provide the means for a chef to serve up a meal for six – and although it’s equipped with all the bells and whistles, this won’t be what first comes to mind. The cabinetry continues the theme of green, with striking shades of jade providing the primary focal point.

BEDROOMS
The principal bedroom is a relaxing oasis, decorated with arresting wallpaper featuring tropical birds in all their plumage. Featuring a queen-sized bed, the chevron flooring adds a rustic charm, and the large fireplace brings a touch of the past. The remaining two bedrooms opt for a more minimal atmosphere, one with bunk beds with room for three, the other with a single bed accompanied by toys and books to keep the kids busy.

BATHROOMS
Where the rest of the home is decidedly green, the bathroom goes in a different direction: shades of blue abound in the tiling and décor, and comes complete with a bath, toilet and large wash basin. The en-suite bathroom is more sleek than colourful and features a combined shower and bath.

The unique feel of bringing the greenery of the outside world inside with the décor, which creates a cosy and welcoming atmosphere while also feeling modern.
