Here you are in an excellent starting point for day trips to nearby places such as Trapani, Erice, Castellammare del Golfo and Selinunte. Partanna is located in western Sicily near Trapani, and is a place of historical interest: its ancient Grifeo Castle on the slopes of a hill now houses an archaeological, artistic and anthropological museum. During the summer many festivals and typical celebrations take place in this area.

Das Haus ist modern und hell eingerichtet und besonders der große sichtgeschützte Pool ist im Sommer genau richtig nach einem heißen Ausflugstag.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind im Ort und der weieren Umgebung (z.B. Selinunt oder Castelvetrano) ausreichend vorhanden.In den Schlafzimmern gab es leider keine Kleiderschränke oder Ablagen, so dass wir aus dem Koffer leben mussten.Die sehr nette Vermieterin hat uns viele Ausflugstipps und Restaurantempfehlungen gegeben.Leider liegt das Haus direkt gegenüber eines beliebten Treffpunkts der Jugendlichen des Orts, die bis spät in die Nacht mit ihren Mororrädern herumfahren.Zudem haben die Hunde in der Nachbarschaft jede Nacht durchgängig gebellt, so dass das Schlafen auch bei den hohen Temperaturen nur mit geschlossenen Fenstern möglich war.
