It’s an amazing resort, with a breathaking view. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, and i do recommend this place for the restaurant variety within resort and good organisation to entertain guests. I had the best birthday there!!

A Nice Getaway

If you want to stay next to the beach and walking distance to Patong Beach downtown market area, stay here. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable. They have several restaurants/bars within the complex and fitness area. You really do not have to leave the complex to enjoy yourself.

Wonderful 3 days stay with friends

We had a three day stay and a two bedroom apartment with friends from UK and we are from Australia? we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and upgraded to the Club lounge unfortunately not realising that this does not include beer or house wine during the day but only for a one hour happy hour each day between 5:30 and 6:30. Apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The Amari in Phuket is a beautiful resort. Check in was easy, the lobby area and bar that overlooks the Andaman Sea is spectacular, and our oceanfront room with balcony had perfect views of Patong Beach. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star (4.8), is that the rooms could be updated, especially the bathroom. Our room (1104) was near the lobby, steps away from one of the pools, and a very short distance to the breakfast restaurant. Breakfast is must. The Amari is a 5 - 10 drive to Bangla Rd and even shorter to Patong Bch. Tuk Tuk charge was 200 baht. They also had a free shuttle that would take you to Patong bch at certain hours. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

This hotel is located in an extremely scenic environment. Outside facilities were all very well maintained and aesthetically pleasing. However, the interior of the room was dated and definitely needed upgrading with specific problems related to the bathroom. Overall, this was a satisfactory stay.

The only warning I would give people booking is understanding the resort's topography. I have counted 531 stairs from the beach to the room (not including the stairs to the room). Once you start using the Tuk-Tuk, it doesn't matter (my wife never used the stairs).

The property is nice in the lobby . But the rooms do need some upgrades and they aren’t that spacious. Also the restaurants have the doors open and bugs was flying around the food which isn’t good at all. The service was amazing all workers except one lady at breakfast .. they was all very nice I can’t remember the breakfast lady name . I saw her yell at several customers for asking her questions . . Overall nice hotel decent location not the best but it was in a ok area. They just need some upgrades to the room the bed was very comfortable but there is mold by the refrigerators and showers .. visable mold . I wouldn’t say this hotel is 5 stars more like a 3.. or a 3.5 tops

We stayed in the deluxe ocean front room in building 7. The room was extremely worn down and outdated. The washroom was the worst part with mold growing in multiple places. The property itself was pretty and the buffet was decent. The views were gorgeous and restaurants were delicious.

I love the club suites at Amari. We are returning guests and have never stayed in the two bedroom balcony suite and this time we did. I have no regrets staying here with my family as it was just excellent. Comfortable beds and apartment with amazing breakfast (the best we have had in Phuket) at club Pakarang. The staff at the club are fantastic and we also received very good service at the rest of the hotel. I would return here again and recommend this hotel for families or couples as it is quiet yet within walking or tuk tuk distance to the busy areas of patong. The kids club is also great.

Stunning main bar in la gritta along with the lobby. We were upgraded for free into a beautiful suite with a fantastic sea view. Recommend half board with good breakfast buffet in rim talay restaurant and suggest lunch /dinner in la gritta. Has been an amazing stay and loved all the staff. Would suggest more frequent shuttles to town but otherwise just amazing.
