Property Owner Not Trustworthy

Reserved 2 months before stay. Communicated with property owner within those 2 months. He confirmed and reassured property would be ready. Day of check in I messaged him for details and he said he never got notice of reservation. He said this despite a lengthy chain of messages between us. He also stated that the property was booked by soemone else for 3 of the 8 days i reserved 2 months in advance. He also claimed to have never messaged me and i sent him our entire message chain. I called VRBO of this activity and was able to book another place. The property owner was also assessed a penatly fee for this activity. This property owner thereafter called me nonstop to book another location.Save your money. Dont trust this guy.
