Loved our stayā€¦. Close to road so loud when trucks pass, nothing owners can do. Close to lots of great restaurants and activities. Bonus that Tarzan swing up the road. Owners very easy to communicate with and accommodating to early check in.

Absolutely beautiful property! We sat on the front deck and watched turtles swim by every morning. Was a bit worried the water would smell but it didnā€™t at all. It was like your own little private sanctuary. Would stay here again!!

We booked two rooms - one on the lake and one inside. We were offered two rooms - none of them on the lake. The rooms were in opposite directions and my kids had to stay far away from us. They complained that they had a lot of noise coming from the busy road and their neighbors. The owner is very responsive and tried to adjust our rooms but couldn't. Felt very disappointed that we couldn't stay on the lake because that was the main reason I booked the property.

Nice , cute property. Rainforest feeling . Rain drops on the roof is very loud ., can bother your sleeping , but very natural rainforest feeling . Easy location to drive to town down . Hot water not working some days , that is the bad for showering . LOL .

We love this place!

We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things.

Super unique and enjoyable place to stay. Even has kitchen if youā€™re inclined to make your own meals (or just coffee), but town is so close with tons of great dining options. Loved the lagoon which is literally at your door step. It rained constantly for us, but didnā€™t care. The sound of huge raindrops on the tin roof was actually pretty soothing. Bonus - the Tarzan swing into the river is just up the road.

Excellent cabin to enjoy La Fortuna. Just a short drive to La Fortuna Center and close to the Rope Swing on Rio Fortuna. The cabin was clean and the shower was hot. The bedroom has an AC, which was nice for a good night sleep. It rained one of the nights and the tin room made me feel like I was swept away to another world of comfort. I would stay again.

The roof is made by plastic material. When it rains, itā€™s very noisy. Even a small rain, the sound can be magnified. Unfortunately, we had three days of rain. We couldnā€™t sleep well because of the noise. When it rains, the carbin has moldy smell. I guess when the weather is good, it will be much better.

CabaƱas del Lago was spectacular. We had a room right on the water. The nature was all around us and we couldnā€™t have been happier. We felt so at home and the amenities were spot on. Definitely the place to stay in Arenal.

3 night stay

I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting La Fortuna. Marcos was great and provided great information to enjoy our stay. The cabin was beautiful and very relaxing, it definitely made you feel like youā€™re in the jungle. The city center was a few minutes down the road, just be careful for how dark it gets when driving around. I would stay here again and everyone say hi to Sammy :)
