The natural springs had been made into 7 pools with varied water temps and were spent 2 full days enjoying the pools and scenery. This resort is about 45 minutes to la Fortuna and a car is a must to get around but the resort is beautiful and extremely nice staff. We will be back!

Staff were courteous, room was nice with A/C (but no fan in the bathroom), nature trails on property were a bonus, extra activities like the night walk and morning yoga were cool. Tons of exotic animals to see on the property. The one negative thing was that they were doing major construction near the two restaurants which was not expected and super loud from 9am- past sun down. They had the water shut off to the 2 water slides on the last day too due to the construction. It's also a far drive to excursions in La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano.

The room was ok, very clean. There was a methane smell several times, however the staff was quick to respond. The staff and the grounds were excellent! Hot springs were very nice, as was the included breakfast. The rooms are separate cottages set back in the jungle, which was very cool. There is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the cottages. Was fine for us, but probably not handicapped friendly

Friendly and accommodating staff, great room. The trails are beautiful. We took a night hike and spotted many frogs and insects. During the day we walked the trails and saw a variety of birds and plants. The staff goes above and beyond to provide great service.

This place was the highlight of our trip in Costa Rica. Usually a hotel is a hotel but these guys are on to something with this place. The property is immaculate and something out of a fairy tale. They offer lots of tours on site if you don’t want to traipse around too far and have more of a relaxed stay. Otherwise it’s not hard to get out to all the places la fortuna has to offer. If you’re not into driving and don’t want to go into town for dinner, it might be tricky for a longer stay as I imagine you’d get a bit bored of the menus but there’s enough variety between the two that you would be fine. My only annoyance was the speaker phone by the main pool- walkie talkies might make more sense for the staff instead of hearing the loud phone ring over the intercom.

If you want unique and private experience in the middle of the rain forest, this is the place. The room was really phenomenal. The closest town is 25 minutes away so be prepared to spend some time on the way to and from La Fortuna if you want to do any excursions.
