Shoal Sound is located on DuPont Road with easy access to the miles of trails and breathtaking waterfalls of DuPont Forest. We are only 10 miles from downtown Brevard and Hendersonville. The cabin offers all you could need to relax or rest after a day of adventure. We have WIFI, Smart TV with local TV stream app, comfortable beds and a large porch to just sit and relax

Bedroom one has a king size bed with a comfortable mattress and linens, smart TV, Grandmas wardrobe closet, and an antique dresser. The ensuite bathroom is spacious and has a walk in shower.

Bedroom two has two twin beds with comfortable mattresses and linens. The second bathroom is just outside the door.

The living and dining area features a gas log fireplace, large entertainment center containing games, books, and a large smart TV.

The kitchen has all the features you would want and expect have to make your stay like being at home. All appliances are new - large refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, farm sink, granite counter tops, coffee maker, Keurig, and microwave. If something is missing, let us know, and we'll get it. We spared no expense to create a beautiful kitchen for you to enjoy.

The porch is sure to be a favorite of guests. Listen to the sound of Shoal Falls from the swing or rockers. (SHOAL FALLS ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE FROM CABIN) We even put a dining table on the porch for you to enjoy the surroundings. A small porch off the back has a small table and a park style charcoal grill.
Our customers tell us they can't get enough of this cabin's great location. During your stay, you'll be close to High Falls. Features include laundry facilities. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the cabin.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash

Leave mattress pad and pillows on bed. leave blankets, covers, coverlets in room. Place linens to the laundry room. Place towels, wash/dish cloths, bathmats in washing machine
Open curtains or blinds, that have been closed and move any furniture back to the original location.

With a location just outside of Brevard & Hendersonville, we found this VRBO delightful. Very close to DuPont State Forest and waterfalls….the location was beautiful. Thoughtfully designed and thoroughly stocked with everything you can imagine. A kitchen that was impressive, by my standards, to have every ‘tool’ for cooking those meals after a big day of hiking & sightseeing.We have rented many VRBOs, and this one was superior to most in cleanliness & host responsiveness. The cabin was wonderful. It was clean and the porch was great. We ate breakfast out there every morning and spent a lot of time in the swing and comfortable chairs. It was a great location also to enjoy many local waterfalls and great dining.

My wife and I had wonderful time here. Cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed for winter stay and it was extremely quiet and private. We were only couple miles from some great hikes to waterfalls. There are some quaint mountain towns nearby but not close enough to get the hustle and bustle traffic lol. The landscaping at cabin was pretty along with the porch and mountain views:) We will definitely stay again in future...
