Morning Star earned its name from the breathtaking sunrise views over Navarre Beach. Located on the 20th floor of Tower Two at Portofino Island Resort, this east-facing condo offers a bright, serene start to every day.

We’ve proudly managed this unit for nearly a decade, and it has many 5-star reviews from happy guests who return year after year.

The Experience

Wake up to panoramic sunrise views from this 20th-floor Portofino condo and enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the coastline toward Navarre Beach.

Step outside and you’re facing due east — the Sound to your left, the Gulf to your right, and endless water views straight ahead.

Inside, the condo comfortably accommodates your group with a king bed, queen bed, and sofa sleeper, and includes full resort amenities with no additional fees.

With access to both the Gulf and Santa Rosa Sound, guests can enjoy sunrise on one side of the resort and sunset on the other.

While the condo is not recently renovated, it is clean, thoughtfully stocked, and priced accordingly to offer excellent value within Portofino Island Resort.

Portofino!!!!

The property was amazing. We stayed in the 2nd tower on the 20th floor, facing east. The view can be seen from every room. My only complaint is that I had to leave. I'm having discussions now with my girlfriend to go back this weekend!

This was an amazing relaxing stay! We had all we needed in the condo for the stay and beach with everything well kept and clean. We did have to call maintenance for a minor fix and their contact responded in a timely manner and had it fixed in less than 15mins from our phone call. We highly recommend! First off, Mary and her partner, the hosts, are amazing ! She’s very communicative and very sweet . It’s like chatting with an old friend. I asked if they had beach chairs to see if I needed to haul mine from Texas and she said if there weren’t any there that they would go buy some and bring them over. (There were some there along with an umbrella , toys and huge beach towels ) . Her partner even stopped by to make sure we had some.I thought that was awesome !All we had to do was show up. Everything you need in the kitchen is there. They also supplied paper towels , towel paper and trash bags. Very well stocked place. She also let me know that the condo was empty the night before us so we didn’t have to wait until the 4 pm check in because the place was clean so we were able to come in early and enjoy a full first day ! Loved that !She gave me multiple recommendations of places to see, eat and visit . She said I could ask her anything at any time and we so appreciated that. Mary also texted me every day to give an update on the flags . That’s huge because I never did see an actual flag on the beach so I wouldn’t have even known. We had red flags the whole time that we were there but we still went to the beach and had a blast. The condo was comfy cozy and we didn’t even want to go anywhere cause it felt like home .It’s very clean and im extremely particular about that. I’ve run out of space to write but rent from Mary !

We love Portofino!

Second time staying at this specific property at Portofino and it is very well stocked. The view is amazing. The furnishings are a little tired and the beds could use new mattresses, but the price is right! Mary is quick to respond and Jeff takes care of whatever you need fixed right away! We will be staying again soon! It is my favorite place in FL!

2nd stay at this property and it provided a great respite. I already knew Mary keeps this beautiful condo stocked with everything you could possibly need. Nice property. Wonderful views of the Gulf and the Sound. Well equipped kitchen. Only complaint is if you like a firm mattress this is not the place for you. Mattresses in both bedrooms need to be taken away and burned.

Best Vacation Ever

I cant say enough good things about this condo! We stayed for a week and it really does have the items that make it feel so much like home. No need to bring Trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, tp, laundry soap, beach chairs or toys as this is all provided by the condo. I loved watching the morning sunrises to watching the moon make her appearance nightly over the Gulf! The view from the balcony were amazing even when a storm approached! The communication with Mary was amazing and it made it feel like we were renting from a friend! Would definitely recommend this condo to anyone and I would love to come back to this very location when we come back down to the panhandle in the future, wonderful memories were made this week!!!!

Red, White & Blue Week

The condo was beautifully furnished with many added extras included which was very nice. Kitchen had everything we needed and the grill was so convenient. The only thing I would upgrade is the blender. We went and bought one to meet our needs, no big deal. If you plan on making margarita’s etc… the current one will not work. We went to see the blue angels at the pier on Thursday, but were able to catch part of the show the other days on the beach at Portofino which was really nice. Beds, furnishings were all really comfortable. I would defiantly stay here again.

Great location!

We love Portofino and always enjoy staying here. Having extra beach chairs, boards etc is a nice touch as well as detergent for dishes and clothes. Would definitely recommend this condo and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Still Our Favorite Stay

This was our second vacation at this condo because we loved it so much the first time we stayed. Again, it was absolutely perfect and beautiful. But unlike last time, the weather was not perfect and the beach had double red flags all week. Fortunately, Portofino offers a private beach on the portside with a lot of fun activities! We enjoyed all the resort had to offer this time around and still had a fantastic vacation! Mary is also the best host. She had recommendations for us and was available for any issues we had - which we didn't. The view is amazing from the condo and the resort makes you feel very exclusive.
