CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
Please be advised that the Seahorse Complex will be undergoing construction from December 11th-January 15th, weather permitting. The scheduled work includes:
Chiseling and grinding of the concrete on the Gulf-facing side of the building
Painting and caulking on the east (rear) wall of the complex
Pressure washing of the concrete surfaces, which will occur prior to other construction activities
Work will take place on weekdays only; no construction will be conducted on weekends.

Seahorse R is an adorable one-bedroom, one and a half-bathroom top floor condo located on Pensacola Beach. When you enter this lovely condo, you’ll notice the tile flooring throughout, upscale furnishings and flatscreen tv. The living room opens to the beachfront balcony with a spectacular view! Cook up your favorite meal or catch of the day, in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and an oversized granite top island. The unit features a King-sized bed in the bedroom and sleeper sofa in the living room, accommodating up to 4 guests comfortably. Enjoy the convenience of the in-unit washer and dryer and free Wifi! Seahorse is a low-density beach front complex in Pensacola Beach comprised of only 18 individual units. The townhomes are on the first and second floors while nine one bedrooms are built on the third floor. There is an elevator that goes to all entrance levels. You will love being beach front and directly across the street from Peg Leg Pete’s seafood restaurant. Discover why guests return to Seahorse year after year!

Fort Pickens is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore and is a historic moment from the 1800s. Kids will love wandering this historical fort from the American Revolution.

Downtown Pensacola is full of shopping dining and history. In its heart is the Palafox Pier Harbour marina. Catch a Pensacola Blue Wahoos minor league baseball game or an Ice Flyers hockey game. Make sure to get a selfie with one of the many pelican statues spread throughout downtown.

The actual condo was great. The customer service was horrible! Had to change rooms at the last minute because of some construction at the original property. They sent a link for an alternative which was acceptable. When we got there it was a different room than what they sent. They were going to give credit for the mix up. Still haven't heard anything from them.

D -The AC in the bedroom was 65 decibels of grinding metal and clicking noises, my wife had to sleep in the living room on the sofa. The ice maker was broken, black mold on the toilet paper holder, recliner is broken, front door knob barely works and is about to fall off, the only shower is in the hall bath instead of the bedroom. We go to Pcola 3-4 times a year, we’ll never stay in this unit again.

First, location is convenient and view of beach is great! Before booking, carefully review check in and check out times, check in is late at 4:00 pm and check out is very early at 10 am. No wiggle room (I asked).I only rent condos for 2 benefits, washing machine in unit so I don’t have to pack as much, and kitchen available. In our unit the washing machine did not work, and while property management did eventually come out to see, they said no one would come to fix it until after we checked out. No help from property management or owner to make other arrangements so we could wash clothes and towels during our stay.Some of the dishes were dirty, but I like to wash before I use anyway. Black mildew on roof of shower was unappealing, but walls and floor clean. Air conditioner is very loud, and must be on roof…kept waking me up every time it cranked up at night.

Recently stayed 4 nights. The condo was very clean and fully stocked with all kitchen needs. There’s a coffee pot and Keurig (though I did not use bc I didn’t know was available) Balcony was very spacious with 3 chairs, two small tables and a lounger. Walking distance to Peg leg Pete’s and Tom Thumb. Within 2 miles or so from everything you need. Walking distance to the beach was perfect and the beach in front of the condo was not packed at all like it was on each side. Will definitely love to stay there again! *parking was confusing the first night but you basically park in front of the R garage next to elevator!

Loved the condo, views, cleanliness and location. And walkable to Tom Thumb convenience store and Peg Leg Pete’s restaurant! Really happy with balcony furniture. We do feel that two beach chairs (4?) and an umbrella should be provided. This is our first beach condo where these amenities weren’t provided for guests flying in…and are so needed for a beach vacation. Also, should fix broken balcony slider door lock. Grand Marlin and Drift restaurants highly recommended!

Condo was just as described. Amazing Gulf views and a very short walk to the beach! We saw the Blue Angels pass right outside the condo over the gulf. The condo is quiet and clean, with all the amenities we needed for an awesome week. We would definitely stay here again!

We come from Minnesota to get away from the cold and snow and was very surprised to have a blizzard on the beach. 9 inches of snow. Crazy. But that couldn’t be prevented. Otherwise we loved it there. I loved the king bed and washer and dryer in the unit. Sitting on the balcony and watching dolphins was my favorite. Would definitely be coming back.

Great location, comfortable condo

This was the best place we’ve stayed since we started vacationing in Pensacola. It is a great location, being walking distance to restaurants and a short drive from the “beach ball” area. Quiet strip of beach, not too many people, and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. This is run by a rental group and they were prompt to respond when I reached out, easy to work with. The bed was comfortable which is worth mentioning in my opinion! Also very nice kitchen with relatively new cookware that we enjoyed. Did not have any chairs or umbrellas in the unit so be sure you don’t forget yours! Giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because overall this unit could use some TLC. Would definitely stay again but for the management company, here are some things that could be better: The entry door is very difficult to open and close. We fought with it every time, it just needs to be replaced. The washing machine only fills the basin with the lid up, you have to wait until it’s full to close it in order for it to run the cycle. Dryer also got grease stains on our clothes and twisted up some items pretty aggressively—the w/d set could use a general service. The shower needs to be more thoroughly unclogged. And the sliding backdoor leaks when it rains, it’s very wet. Small things but just something to note. Overall great unit!

We love the Seahorse Condominiums. Easy access to the beach. Well appointed condo, nicely furnished. Only complaint is the bedroom is way to hot to sleep comfortably, at least for us.
