Sadly run down, grateful I had my own blanket to cover the stained couch otherwise I would have sat on the floor. Cost was outrageous. Worst motel/hotel I have ever stayed at in my life.

The cleanliness of our unit was terrible. The bathroom door would not shut, the towel rack kept falling off the wall and the dead flies and bugs along with cobwebs that were in the window casings inside if the unit, were terrible. I spoke to the front desk and they did have maintenance come to repair the towel rack and make adjustments on the bathroom door so that would at least close. However, housekeeping did not come and clean up the windowsills in side of the unit. The sand and dead bugs in the runner of the patio doors going out to our deck was unbelievable. Emma, the staff at the front desk was very helpful and very apologetic for the condition of the unit. She did tell me she would pass on my concerns to the owner however, I have yet to hear from him and that was approximately two days ago. I would definitely not stay there again. To spend close to $800 for three nights of stay, with the unit in that condition was not acceptable.

Great location. Helpful staff. Great Thai food at their restaurant. Older place for sure could use a scrubbing on baseboards in bathroom and fix main window blind as one slat missing and limits privacy. I do recommend this place though it’s decent

We stayed in room 115, it was surface clean but had sand in the corners of the flooring, dead bugs on the front door and windowsill, dust on the baseboards and finger prints on the white bathroom door. It definitely wasn’t throughly cleaned in awhile but the sheets were clean. There was a plumbing issue as the bathroom sink kept burping up gross residue and the fridge was leaking water in the bottom crisper and it was leaking a rust stained pool of water that leaked onto the floor. It was very worn down. The staff tried to be helpful but it didnt seem like they had much authority to help out much with our experience. The outside facility needs to be more maintained. The location is great, kids loved the pool. Water pressure was nice and strong. Don’t leave anything valuable outside of your door, our wagon full of beach toys was stolen.

Our annual trip to Penticton landed us at Tiki shores for the second time. Great location right across from the beach. We got 2 rooms this time, one for our adult daughters and one for us. It was the perfect set up. Large deck with bbq and table set us up for great dinners/lunch in the kids place and our own escape to our studio room close to the water. We will return again in the future! The building itself is old but that part of the experience and you don’t find this type of affordable option directly on the beach.

The staff at front desk were nice, however forgot to bring us a few things we requested. Our place was quite dirty. Floors were very dirty as well as door handles, walls, kitchen cupboard fronts. Bedding was clean. For booking for 5 woman to stay, we had only a few towels and a couple bathroom towels. As well there was no kitchen towels or rags to clean with. With having no service the price is the same as other resorts/motels that offer daily service and often free ice. Location is great. One thing that also concerned me was the flooring coming apart in the kitchen that I cut my foot on. This should not be acceptable and should be repaired.

The pro's are that Tiki Shores has a great location across from the beach and the front desk staff were very nice. We travel to Penticton every year and needed to try a new hotel that would allow a dog. Unfortunately there were just too many cons. The cleanliness was atrocious. I really wish I took photos. The "freshly cleaned" room had the dirtiest floors ever! Our feet were black so we took some lysol wipes to it. They turned completely black as well, and we only made a small improvement. We wiped the room down and the dirt that came off the surfaces was scary. My nightstand had dried sticky coffee spilled all over it. The toilet had a 2inch black rim around the top of the bowl. The couch had liquid stains and one of our mattresses had a stain as well. We probably did the next guests a service, as the room was probably cleaner than they would have received it. 2days in, one of our toilets had an issue that we told the front desk about. They advised they would send maintenance but nobody came. Luckily we had a 2nd bathroom, so we had 1 useable toilet for the last 2.5days for 4 people. Im sorry Tiki Shores, but something needs to change. We will not be back.

We arrived and checked in . The room we received was absolutely disgustingly dirty. We swept up ,3 dust pans of dirt. Bedding was used ... The bathroom was filthy When mentioned to the supervisor ..she just said she will tell her cleaners to do better .... Didn't switch us to a clean room . Very very disappointed in our stay
