We (two married couples) enjoyed the two weeks in this villa very much. On a scale of 1 to 10, Beatrice and Thierry's house deserves at least a 12 for cleanliness and furnishings!The location of the house with direct access to the sea via a staircase in the rocks allowed us – depending on the tide – beach walks or swimming „right outside the front door“.We spent most of the time and meals on the terrace or in the conservatory. Also noteworthy is a well equipped kitchen and the spacious salon with high-quality audio equipment.We thank the hosts and can recommend this house with a clear conscience.

We really enjoyed our time at this house. The hosts greeted us on arrvial and showed us around - both are extremely friendly and forthcoming. Communication beforehand and during our stay was excellent - any text message was always answered almost instantly, and also beforhand, conversation via the Vrbo-app was equally great and quick. The house itself is quite unique, being, as far as we could establish, only one of three houses at this stretch of cliffs at Pentrez with direct access to the beach (at low water). It also has an outdoor shower with hot water - excellent after bathing - especially when the wind is cold. The house is fully equipped, internet works very well, and it is also very clean (it took us some time to understand how the vaccum-robots worked, but once we understood, they were of great help :-) We would definitely come and stay here again.

Fantastic Place

This property has the best view we've seen anywhere in France. The panoramic sight lines of the ocean make it very special. We loved spending time here. The owners were very helpful and friendly. I already miss it even though we've just left.

Wonderful beach house

It was indeed a "Cliff Villa on Full Sea View," and was even more beautiful and spacious than the description. Extremely comfortable, clean and well-equipped. You can sit on the terrace and watch the tides go in and out. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. You will definitely need a car, because it is a 15-minute drive to the nearest grocery store. The tiny town where the house is located has a couple of very casual places to eat.

Wir waren zu viert im August 2025 für eine Woche in der Villa "étoile de mer". Nach über 40 Jahren Erfahrung mit Ferienhäusern in der Bretagne hatten wir das Haus auf Grund der Lage, den Bildern und den Beurteilungen ausgesucht. Direkt nach der Buchung wurden wir von Béatrice und Thierry sehr ausführlich über das Haus, die Umgebung, Restaurants in der Umgebung und Einkaufsmölichkeiten informiert. Bei unserer Ankunft erwarteten uns beide schon am Haus und wiesen uns umfassend ein. Das Haus und die Lage zeigten sich noch schöner als erwartet. Beide haben innen und außen mit sehr viel Geschmack renoviert, Haus und Garten sind in perfektem Zustand. Die Küche ist modern und vollständig ausgestattet. Auf jeder Etage in Haus und Garten gibt es mehr als genügend Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten um die großartige Aussicht zu bewundern. Den direkten und privaten Zugang zum Meer haben wir mehrmals am Tag genutzt. Den Besitzern danken wir nochmals herzlich für einen unserer schönsten Bretgagne Urlaube.

Einfach traumhaft

Wir durften zwei sehr entspannte Wochen in dieser wundervollen Villa verbringen. Die Lage ist traumhaft, der Blick aufs Meer aus nahezu allen Zimmer sensationell. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Die Betten sind sehr gut und im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man für entspannte Ferien benötigt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Alles prima in orde

Wij werden prima ontvangen door de eigenaars. Het huis is zeer goed gelegen en zeer comfortabel. Enig klein minpunt is de parkeergelegenheid die enkel toegankelijk is voor middelgrote wagens, doch het alternatief ligt slechts 30m verderop in de doodlopende weg.

Phantastische Aussicht und Location

Eine Woche durften wir in dieser sehr schönen, sauberen und gut ausgestatteten Unterkunft wohnen. Der Ausblick ist phantastisch und der Private Meer Zugang einfach ein Traum. Die Vermieter sind unheimlich bemüht und sprechen sogar etwas englisch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Schimmel an den Wänden

Tolle Lage,dass war es dann aber auch schon! Im Haus eine Menge Schimmel an den Wänden, wir sind nach 2 Stunden wieder ausgezogen und haben uns auf eigene Faust ein neues Haus suchen müssen. Der Vermieter hat überhaupt kein einsehen und reagiert nicht mehr auf Mails, er weigert sich einfach unser Geld zurück zu erstatten! Leider blieb uns nichts anderes übrig, als einen Anwalt einzuschalten. So etwas unkooperatives und uneinsichtiges Verhalten ist uns in 15 Jahren Erfahrungen mit Ferienhäuser noch nicht untergekommen. Dieses Haus und dieser Vermieter, wir können nur abraten. Bleibe suchen müssen. Derr

Eines der schönsten Häuser was wir je hatten

Die Besitzer sehr freundlich, herzliche Begrüßung. Unkomplizierter Kontakt. Das Haus wunderschön, die Aussicht und der Strand wunderschön. Viele Treppen, aber da hatten wir kein Problem mit, war auf den Bildern auch zusehen. Gefehlt hat uns in dem Haus nichts. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. und alles sauber. Wir würden immer wieder kommen, leider ist das Haus für nächstes Jahr belegt. Von der ersten Sekunde an haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und wunderbar geschlafen. Wir schwärmen immer noch. Danke das wir in dem Haus wohnen durften.

Traumhaft

Mit sehr viel Liebe renoviertes Haus. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und überrascht so nah an der Küste. Unglaublicher Ausblick vom kleinen Wintergarten, der auch bei Regen und starkem Wind ein Erlebnis bietet. Endlich mal ein Ferienhaus mit bequemen Liegen und Sitzmöglickeiten! Betten waren hervorragend! Sehr, sehr nette Besitzer, Kontakt war jederzeit hervorragend! Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Wunderschönes Haus am Meer

Wir waren das zweite mal in diesem schönen Haus. Die Lage am Meer ist sensationell. Vom ersten Tag an ist man verliebt in dieses Haus, in diese Aussicht auf das Meer, von fast allen Zimmern. Wir haben die 2 Wochen sehr genossen.

Un endroit paradisiaque une villa haut perchée une vue superbe un endroit très calme le bruit de la mer et le chant des oiseaux. Pentrez est très bien situé pour visiter Crozon le Mont d'Arrée Locronan Huelgoat et les Monuments historiques ils manquent pas dans le Finistère. Béatrice et Thierry merci pour le partage de cette belle location et pour le bon cadeau de bienvenue ainsi que la propreté de la villa et sa décoration réussie,nous garderons cette adresse dans notre carnet et peut être à bientôt très certainement il y a encore pas mal à visiter. Pour ne pas oublier situation des restaurants à deux pas et l'Oasis à Plomodiern ouvert 7 jours sur 7. Boulangerie d'Annette à Saint Nic très bon pain artisanal.

Un havre de paix

Nous avons été conquis par L'étoile de mer. Vue panoramique incroyable, décoration soignée, équipements et prestation de qualité, et bien sûr l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. L'endroit est merveilleux pour se ressourcer et découvrir de très beaux sites aux environs.
