Penzance and the historic town of Marazion with Mounts Bay sweeps round and is overlooked by St Michaels Mount perched on its rocky outcrop. Just a short stroll down to the sea front, the fishing harbour at Newlyn, pubs, art galleries and the long wide flat promenade that runs from Newlyn to Penzance town and harbour. Bosorne is a comfortably furnished property accommodating four guests and equally appealing to couples and families all year round. There is a fully enclosed rear garden with lawn and patio area, spacious conservatory with sea glimpses and distant views to Newlyn.



The area is vibrant all year round attracting traditional summer beach lovers, walkers and bird watchers with the popular marshes just outside Marazion attracting twitchers from around the world. The area is well known for its art and culture, with the famous Newlyn School of Art offering short courses. Newlyn Art Gallery and museum is just a short stroll away. There are numerous independent shops and galleries along with cafés, tea rooms and pubs all serving good local food and ales. Newlyn is a working fishing harbour and guests can purchase freshly caught fish daily.

The picturesque harbour and small village of Mousehole with its winding streets, pretty cottages and small well-kept sandy beach, is a magnet for visitors. A sheltered sun worshiper’s haven in the summer, storm watching and wild beach walks in the winter and of course the famous christmas lights stretching from Newlyn to Mousehole, ensure Xmas and new year visitors return year after year.

There are good transport links and a local bus service to Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole. There is a Main Line railway station at Penzance which is just a 10-minute taxi ride for guests who want to arrive by train.
