Just a little out of Penzance & Marazion. Very comfortable after a long day's travel & close proximity to the towns, across from Mexico Inn diner. A delicious hearty cooked breakfast w/great service. Very economically priced. Thanks for the hospitality.

Great value for Money
Lovely and helpful staff, free parking (first come first serve). Full English breakfast was included in our stay and was made to order. Alternative breakfast like cereals, juices etc also an option,
We stayed here as family of four, out most of the day sightseeing. Good access to most the landmarks.
The only not so good is it’s on the main road so can be noisy in the night but settles down. Also it’s a feee house downstairs ( although separate access to the rooms) weekend noise till late.
Overall great experience and good value. Thanks for making our stay.
The room was clean and useable. Shower was electric but the shower head was in poor condition.
Breakfast was good. Service friendly. Dining room small and cluttered with stores and house keeping items.
Ideal for an over night stay. But not ideal for a long stay.

Going back 50 years staying in a hotel.
My room was clean and tidy facing the main road which was controlled by portable traffic lights as a large trench was being dug making entry into the hotel carpark not easy. this was not conveyed too me when booking only a few days before my arrival. On my first night at 4.00 am I was woken by a lorry/crane under my window collecting debris from the trench. This was not down to the hotel but did not make a good start to my stay. The room was clean and tidy but at night dark as the central light was of low wattage. Both bed side lamps were of very low wattage and the one on the right did not stretch to the bed side from its position on top of a chest of draws. The kettle was situated on the floor. Not a good idea as room 3 is advertised as a family room. The TV only played radio stations and internet non existent. I did not partake of breakfast so cannot pass comment. The bar, for a family hotel was not very welcoming with one gentleman quite drunk and, by law, should not have been serve alcohol. Cannot comment on staff as during my stay I did not see the same face twice. I would use the hotel again, taking my own bedside light, but would not dream of taking the wife.
Mount View is a good traditional guesthouse. Rooms are small but well presented, spotlessly clean and have everything you need for a comfortable nights sleep. Mine had a spacious en-suite.The hosts are friendly and accomodating. Full english breakfast is to be recommended and represents really good value. The Bar is open to non residents and is very freindly and welcoming.
Large comfy room, friendly staff, perfectly cooked breakfast

We are travelling from city to city. We stay in what we call a "tent room". Mostly, only there for one night (in this case we stayed longer and used it as a central location to explore the area around Penzance), the breakfast was included and was good and the host was very accommodating to our food needs. The parking is beside the hotel, it may be a challenge to park a larger vehicle. The neighbourhood had a couple of restaurants, we ate in different parts of the Penzance area (Though we did eat at the Mexico Inn one night - they were great). We would not stay there again for one night, or many nights. It would have been better to find a B&B outside of the town of Penzance and used that as our "central location" for the day trips.
