About this property
SaltWater Holiday Lodge - For Penzance & St Ives
Escape to the beautiful Cornish countryside, to my bright self-catering lodge, located between Penzance & St Ives. Where you can kick back, relax and enjoy quality time with friends & family. Enjoy nature in the clean open air, and relax in true comfort. All thanks to the modern practical facilities within this lodge, along with its many personal touches. Set in 11 acres of well established landscaped grounds and gardens within the elegant Kenegie Manor estate, built over 400 years ago. Kenegie is a rare hidden gem in West Cornwall.
SaltWater is located just above Mounts Bay, the largest bay in Cornwall. At one end Porthleven, and the other Mousehole. Mounts Bay has an accessible marine trail. Located right in the centre of Poldark and Rosamond Pilcher country
SaltWater is one of the few properties in the area that can provide you with a heated indoor swimming pool and sauna room. Pitch and putt green. Tennis courts. Toddlers enclosed play area. Picnic/ ball games area. Small honesty convenience shop. A laundrette, along with all the information to the local landmarks and attractions that you will need for the very best of holidays
In the evenings enjoy a meal along with your favourite tipple, at The Old Forge bar and restaurant, open from 5pm. I can personally vouch for the chefs daily specials, and his passion for quality freshly prepared dishes. All of the above is available during the season, ( mid Feb - end of Oct). There are very often special evenings laid on during the week. This is all within a 2 min stroll from your door
I am also one of the very few properties here that include my own high speed WiFi connection for your exclusive use. This can be used for any home office work that maybe required during your stay
Dogs love Cornwall! The property is pet-friendly, so the "whole" family can join you on your holiday!
As a self-catering lodge, you'll find everything you need for your perfect stay
The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, a four ring halogen hob with a full sized oven, a toaster, a kettle and a microwave. As well as the usual array of cutlery & crockery, enough for 4 people
SaltWater is the perfect place to relax, and offers a smart 40 inch television, dvd player (I provide a good selection of popular blockbuster dvds for you to enjoy). An Alexa smart speaker, and internet access
There is selection of books to immerse yourself in, as well as some local interest books, games, jigsaws and playing cards
SaltWater has 2 bedrooms, and can comfortably sleep 4 adults
In the first bedroom, you will find a double bed. Wardrobe, drawers, full length mirror. Bedside cabinets with lamps. Hairdryer. Heating
The second bedroom contains two single beds. Wardrobe, drawers, full length mirror. Bedside cabinet and lamp. Heating
There is a family shower room. This provides a heated towel rail, LED lit mirror, recessed LED downlights, bathroom cabinet. As well as the usual bathroom facilities
Outside is a patio area for your exclusive use, and I provide a seated patio table, for your al fresco dining pleasure
Linen is included to make your stay more enjoyable. *Towels are not included*. But if your require them please feel free to contact me, and for a small supplement I can always provide
You will be parked a few steps from the entrance door, in a reserved space, no 3. If you arrive after dark then there is an automatic sensor light that will guide you to the key safe, and the entrance door. Also installed is a ring doorbell that covers the carpark
