Mandurah is approx 78 km south of Perth, with a drive time of around 50–55 minutes, making it an easy destination for a day trip or coastal getaway.
You will receive the access details a few days before your arrival, once you complete a quick ID and card verification via our Guest App - similar to hotel check-in — to ensure safety and peace of mind for all. A $750 security hold (required by our insurer) is placed and automatically released after your stay once house rules are confirmed and no damage is noted.
We have a spa bath but is currently undergoing repairs so not available from March to July 2025 until further notice
Space and Comfort for All:
You can access all parts of the house except the garage which is used for the owner's storage purposes. Also, the upstairs spa bath is not available for use. The portable air conditioner is located inside the wardrobe, on the top shelf to the right
Master Bedroom (Upstairs): A spacious retreat with a queen bed, walk-in robe, and ensuite, shower, and toilet.
Bedrooms 2, 3 & 4 (Ground Floor): Two queen bedrooms with built-in robes, and one bunk room featuring 4 single beds, perfect for kids.
***All single beds are part of a bunk bed configuration.

Cancellations
Our cancellation policy is set through Airbnb and applies to all bookings. We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes to your plans. Our cancellation policy is strict, and refunds will not be issued unless the issue is caused by our listing. Travel insurance can help cover costs if you need to cancel or your trip is disrupted.
Pet-Friendly 🐾
We’re happy to welcome well-behaved pets. A $150 per pet per stay fee applies and can be arranged via our guest portal prior to arrival.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will be directed to our guest app. Prior to check-in, you will be required to complete an identity check by scanning your licence/passport and credit card before being provided with your arrival instructions. This provides security for the owners of the property so they are comfortable that you are who you say you are and you have the documents to prove it (similar to a hotel check-in procedure). We do not charge your card, nor does it get stored by our system, and you are welcome to block out some numbers, but please note that our Guest App has the highest level of PCI compliance available. This process is necessary due to the fact that we have a self-check-in system.
Security Hold
Like most professionally managed holiday homes, a $750 pre-authorisation hold is placed before arrival and automatically released after your stay once house rules are confirmed and no damage is noted.
We’re happy to consider early check-in and late check-out requests, though these options are subject to availability and not guaranteed. Our cleaners charge a fee $50 per hour for this service. For guaranteed early access, we recommend booking the night prior to arrival. This offers peace of mind and a smooth, stress-free start to your stay. Please note that the check-in time during school holidays.

Nature/Environment
Our home is set in a beautiful natural waterfront environment. From time to time you may see local wildlife — and occasionally insects, particularly if doors or windows are left open. The property is professionally treated, but being close to nature is part of its charm.
For stays of one month or longer, a complimentary mid-stay clean will be provided as a condition of the rental. The cost of this clean will be covered by the property owner. For stays extending beyond one month, a complimentary clean will be scheduled every fortnight.
*This home was built in 1991 and is well maintained, however it has not been recently renovated. Guests seeking a modern or luxury-style property may prefer one of our newer homes. For those looking for a comfortable, spacious and affordable place to stay in a great location, this home represents excellent value.
