We stayed at the Doubletree for our wedding night. We'd had a morning wedding, but had a post-wedding celebration at the Lucky Shag, so it was very handy! We had booked a river view room and had a great room on the 9th floor with a lovely view of the river. It was also a quieter part of the hotel further from the lifts which was nice. A few of our interstate friends also stayed, and we all got lovely rooms and wonderful service. We spent a bit of time at the pool area the following day, and enjoyed a cocktail or 2 and a pizza. The pool area was comfortable with a great view of the river. It was a bit windy for me, but the boys enjoyed a quick dip in the pool.
