Good hotel and location

Overall the hotel was good. Some of the rooms were quite dated but had modern up to date elements like showers/ bathrooms etc. staff were friendly and helpful and cleanliness was good. Food was lovely in the restaurant and breakfast was plentiful. Would recommend this hotel

This is a bit of a gem. Family run, very welcoming. Room good size with comfortable bed and good shower. The food in the restaurant was good quality. Situated very close to town centre with parking.

Very welcoming, staff are incredibly helpful

The staff were so helpful. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice. We ate in the evening and the food was amazing! Loads more than expected, don’t order just in case, there really is plenty!

Staff couldnt have done more for you. The food in the indian restaurant was some of the best ive had, breakfast as you would expect. Room was clean an had everything you needed. Its obvious they have been updating and still redecorating the accommodation areas. Only stayed for 2 nights but slept well. Some areas are tired but its an old bulding and to be expected. Cant comment on local area as we were attending a wedding near by, but there were 3 supermarkets within a couple of mins walk and the centre was only 15 mins ish walk. Ive paid more an stayed in alot worse. Overall a good experience

Not at all the hotel as shown on the web site. Now a nepalese restaurant with rooms above. Tired room, poor bed and pillows and noise in bedroom from extractor fan outside bedroom window. Nice staff. Poor quality breakfast ingredients

Bed comfy, room poor quality, no wardrobe, 1970s decor kitchen roll stuck to bathroom wall. Cooked breakfast awful. Very low quality sausages, bacon cooked until it was impossible to cut, black pudding good but very poor overall. Staff ignore you in the bar for ages. This place needs a total overhaul both staff and decoration. Avoid.

The staff was great and the room was clean. The breakfast was fairly good. The parking wasn't good at all. The hotel is on a very busy street and only has a few spaces in front of it. We had to park across the street, which had 4-5 lanes. That was very inconvenient.
