Free Parking (almost CBD)

Very dated but fine for what it is, location opposite Mantra and is walkable to CBD. Restaurant on site, didn't utilise but looked ok. Hot water was hit and miss and car parking had height restriction of 2.0m but also had 3 parks before ( under cover) for larger vehicles

Staff were nice and friendly. They were very helpful for all inquiries. Room was outdated but clean. There was however, some people smoking from next door so the smell was going through our side. But overall, stay was very good and shops was walking distance too

Property is okay, but they have a contracted taxi and they don't call a taxi for the customer's convenience. Usually i don't have to wait for more than 5 minutes to get a taxi. With this motel, I have to wait for 30 minutes and the taxi is a large one without a meter. This is not my first time. I think it happened all the times. I thought it was a coincidence.

Pro's: Great location in Perth CBD, the bed in our room was clean and comfortable. Con's: The room was very basic (that alone would be ok), but showed lots of wear and tear on lots of areas. Also, there was an extra blaket in the built in cupboard in the hallway, which we needed, so we took it out and it was full of foreign long black hait stuck on it - quite gross.. Finally - not that important, but still a point to mention - there were coffe and tea facilities (eg. small water kettle), sugar and milk, but no tea spoon :-/.. Finally there was a small lamp on the right hand badside table, that wasn't connected, and there was not even a power point near there .. so we removed it to the other sie, where we could actually use it.. :-/ Last thing the pre-booked breakfast in the morning.., it was booked as a continental breakfast. But it was absolutely basic - only some cereals, joghurt, friet in syrup and then a few choices of taost with some limited jams.., but NO sliced cheese or ham at all! We think, that for the price of $ 19.50 we could expect at least this?.. On checking-out, we were not even being asked how our stay was..So, again, we didn't have high expectations of a budget hotel, but because of the above mentioned downsides, we'd probably wouldn't use this hotel again.Our advice: Please address these issues to make it better for future guests, thanks!
