Stop in the Douro Valley

Claudia has a wonderful place. She’s provided so many amenities to make the stay comfortable. Her communications were quick and showed a strong interest in ensuring we had a great stay. Claudia’s suggestions for dinner were amazing!! If we find ourselves back in the valley we’d definitely return.

Great stay in Peso da RĂ©gua

This is a comfortable, clean and authentic place in Peso da RĂ©gua, a great small town along the Duoro River. We stayed here in mid-January when temps were a bit brisk at times - 30s at night and about 60 during the day. At first the place felt cold - until we learned how to use the heaters, then it was fine. There are 2 bedrooms, living and dining area, and a full kitchen - plenty of room to enjoy the stay. Plus, ClĂĄudia, our host, gave us great recommendations for local restaurants. We’d be happy to stay here again.

Regal in Regua

We loved this tastefully renovated two bedroom home that is only steps away from everything. Claudia welcomed us with great advice. We took the train to Porto on Monday and enjoyed the museum, wine tasting and vineyard tour on Tuesday.

Appartement trÚs bien situé pour découvrir la magnifique vallée du Douro et ses vignobles accrochés aux coteaux qui surplombent le fleuve pour produire le trÚs réputé Porto.L'appartement est trÚs confortable et comporte de nombreux meubles pour ranger les affaires et l'alimentation.Bien que nous ne nous sommes pas rencontrés nos échanges avec Claudia ont été trÚs chaleureux et elle s'est montrée toujours trÚs disponible pour répondre à nos questions.Nous garderons un trÚs bon souvenir de notre séjour dans cette région du Portugal, pays que nous ne connaissions pas.

Bel appartement, 2 chambres, trĂšs bien situĂ© car tout dans la petite ville se fait Ă  pied. Bon point de dĂ©part pour dĂ©couvrir la rĂ©gion. Le seul petit point nĂ©gatif est le manque d'insonorisation des fenĂȘtres qui est pas mal habituel dans ce type d'immeuble ancien, mais nous avec des bouchons, nous avons trĂšs bien dormi quand mĂȘme. Je recommande!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, mit zentraler Lage in Peso.

Wir hatten sehr viel Freude mit dieser Ferienwohnung. ClaudiĂĄ war eine sehr gut Gastgeberin, die sich sofort gekĂŒmmert hat, sobald wir etwas wollten. Es war alles sehr sauber und aufgerĂ€umt. Wir wĂŒrden auf jeden Fall wieder dahin fahren.

Maison spacieuse avec beaucoup de charme

C’est un emplacement original, en plein centre, avec entrĂ©e et parking du cĂŽtĂ© de la chapelle. La maison est magnifique, charme rustique, spacieuse, deux chambres, salon et grande cuisine. Claudia est facilement joignable et trĂšs avenante pour nous accueillir. TrĂšs belle dĂ©couverte de cet endroit atypique. Petites prĂ©cisions : l’endroit est trĂšs central et en pĂ©riode de fĂȘtes (principalement au mois d’aoĂ»t) toute la ville est animĂ©e du matin Ă  tard le soir (nous avons adorĂ© cette ambiance de fĂȘte). L’autre prĂ©cision concerne l’accĂšs au parking sur la petite place de la chapelle : il faut y aller sur la petite route, ça passe facilement en roulant sur les trottoirs, et ensuite en manƓuvrant tranquillement on arrive Ă  se garer comme on veut sur la petite place de la chapelle et votre vĂ©hicule sera au plus prĂšs de l’apartement.
