An absolutely gorgeous hotel. Quite a surprise and unexpected. Spotless and a beautiful hotel that was originally an 1890 silk plant, and later a twine plant. One can see the original brick building That was totally gutted and renovated beautifully, and now sports an industrial modern feel throught out the building, including small but beautifully appointed super high 12 ft ceiling rooms.

Great location. Cute and clean hotel. Room could have been a bit warmer and I don’t mean temperature wise. The decor is a bit cold. I know the building used to be a factory, but the room felt very industrial. Could have been softened a bit with lighting and comfier furniture. Otherwise, a great stay.

Really cool historic building, a quick drive from downtown. You could do a long walk into town but it’s along busy roads and train tracks so not the most scenic. Room was comfortable and clean but sound carried between rooms as though there was no separation so we had to set up white noise on our phones.

This is our second stay at this Hampton Inn and we just love it. Super clean, easy access to highway and close to downtown, and great rooms. They have done a fabulous job renovating an old silk mill and they have maintained the integrity of the building and have many pictures throughout the building of its history and Petaluma. Would recommend this motel again and again.
