Set on a beautiful 78-acre site with three serene fishing lakes, this charming waterside retreat offers snug and relaxing accommodation and is ideally situated for discovering the scenic countryside. The historic town of Market Deeping (4.5 miles) has attractions including the Market Deeping Antiques and Craft Centre and Deeping Lakes Nature Reserve. The picturesque village of Bourne and the historic market towns of Spalding and Stamford are all within 12 miles. Other local landmarks include Burghley House, the Gordon Boswell Romany Museum, and Grimsthorpe Castle Park and Gardens, all within 13 miles. Rutland Water Country Park is to the west (18 miles), a popular spot for water sports, fishing and nature watching. To the south, Peterborough (14 miles) is home to the medieval Peterborough Cathedral as well as the Crown Lakes Country Park, Flag Fen Archaeology Park and Kings Dyke Nature Reserve.


Stepping inside this inviting single-level lodge, you will be greeted by a bright, fresh and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom providing an ideal space for you to settle back and unwind after a great day fishing or exploring the local villages and surrounding countryside. The snug lounge area offers comfortable seating and a Smart TV, with a useful kitchenette providing plenty of equipment for rustling up a romantic meal. The living area also boasts a lovely double bed for a good night’s sleep. The sofa usefully converts into a second double bed. Rounding off the accommodation, there’s a handy en-suite shower room.


Stepping outside, you’ll find a private garden area leading down to the lake’s edge. This quiet and tranquil space has a patio, ample outdoor furniture, a fire pit, and a hot tub for you to relax in as you take in the views across the water. There’s also a private fishing peg along the lake. Parking is available for one car next to the cabin.
