Stayed in the taproom on ground floor for four nights. Very comfortable, bottled water in mini fridge every day as well as fruit on arrival. Ruth owner was really friendly and even got in some smoked salmon especially for breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast.

A friend and I stayed in the Hop room for the night as we were attending a wedding nearby. The staff at the cricketers were welcoming and always on hand to help. The room was clean and tidy. We couldn’t connect to the wifi from our room but that was okay for us. We also had breakfast included which was delicious. A great stay.

A16th century coaching inn. Loads of charm. Great food and large choice of drinks. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The accommodation is within a totally converted hay barn and has been refurbished to a very high standard. Extremely clean with high end bedding and towels provided. Great value. Highly recommended.

A welcoming English Pub

Just what we were looking for. Good location, accomodation, food and beer. Only two rooms but they are spotless and well kept, apart from the pub. Note that althugh the address is Petworth, the location is 3 or so miles southat Duncton. Very easy to find. Breakfast was cooked to order and like the meal the night before very enjoyable.

A gem near Goodwwod

A lovely recently renovated room. Comfortable, clean and included a mini fridge with fresh milk for tea and coffee. All the staff were very friendly and our breakfast was freshly cooked to order. We also had an evening meal which was excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in this gorgeously pretty pub which is in an ideal location for visiting nearby Chichester or Petworth. The pub has one of the most attractive gardens we've ever been in. Our room was in a converted building adjoining the pub & had all you need for a comfortable overnight stay. Tasty breakfast. Highly recommend.

Overall a little bit disappointing. It is virtually impossible to have a shower if you're relatively tall, the mattress is extremely bouncy and the veggie sausages they served as part of breakfast were hard as a rock. The bathroom is nice and modern but has numerous design flaws, which makes it quite awkward to move around and it's just not comfortable. Having said that, the hotel is in a good location, the staff are super friendly and the room was very clean. It's overpriced for what you get in my view.
