I contacted the host for check-in instructions the morning of our stay and they replied an hour or so before check-in stating they were cancelling due to damage at the apartment. They clearly knew about the damage before this time and should have cancelled much sooner. He then didn't reply any further and I had to work with customer service while traveling to Philly to get another place to stay.

The property owner canceled my reservation less than 18 hours before I was scheduled to arrive. Apparently, this property owner is looking for highest bidders. NEVER ALLOW THIS OWNER TO POST THEIR PROPERTY ON EXPEDIA OR VRBO EVER AGAIN. I am the second complainant within the month of October 2025 for the same observation.

He cancelled our trip the morning of check in! He overbooked and was seeing who would pay him more money. After he cancels, he processed to argue with me in text messages. Do not recommend.
