Disaster in Philadelphia

Property was not supposed to be on VRBO. Found out 30 mins before check in. Had no place to stay for our vacation.

Worst travel experience of my life

Booked back in August, never received check in info. Reached out to host the day before, they responded once and then never said anything until the next day when they cancelled. I was stuck in Philly with no money and nowhere to go. I spent seven hours on the phone with VRBO trying to get any help at all - until eventually, someone finally sorta helped and got us a room at the worst hotel I've ever been to (when I specifically did not want to stay in a hotel and needed a kitchen). We thought we were finally past it, until we discovered the next day, he had only booked us for one night and we had to sleep in a car last night. Also, they didn't even begin to process my refund until Sunday night - 48 hours later to even begin. This was one of the worst experiences in my life and I will never use VRBO again.

Point Breeze

Pros: Home was clean and the beds were comfortable. Cons: The kitchen didn't have measuring cups or spoons. The towels were very small, 23x36 inches, a normal towel is 30x54. The microwave was mounted so high you needed a step ladder to use it. There was no coffee maker (listing said there was one). I messaged the host and they never responded. Recommendation: It would be nice to have a bench or something to but luggage on. There was only four sets of flatware, also could use more pillows.
