Slight discomfort with air conditioning being down in the hallway, but a minor factor in an overall great stay.

There's no onsite parking as described in the property details. The front desk staff only mentioned $65/night off site parking. Upon further inquiry staff informed me of $40/night parking a short walk away. The lobby was not air condition. Felt like a green house.

This was right near Reading Terminal Market which was convenient. You would likely want to drive to historic Philly especially in the heat.

Pretty good, some room for improvement

Location is very convenient. Room was great. Very comfy beds. Breakfast is pretty poorly managed. Items ran out, machines weren’t working, dishes utensils weren’t easy to find.

Great location, right across Reading Terminal Market where you can find just about anything you’d dream of eating. However, first night I find a roach on my pillow, hair on the “cleaned” toilet… front desk seems miserable and don’t make an effort to be friendly. No fans, AC was not functioning downstairs, it was quite stuffy. Room smelled and gave me allergies both nights… I just don’t think the staff cares to do anything beyond the bare minimum. That said, I’d stay again just for the location — would bring a vacuum and disinfectant spray next time, and a fan.

After we checked in I learned that the fitness center which we had all planned to use for all the days had a broken AC unit and it was 90 degrees in there. I would not have checked in had I know the fitness center was so hot. There were rooms available at the Marriott across the street where I usually stay. It seems deceptive that the staff did not inform us of this. The AC was broken on the entire ground floor and it’s not their fault but I do think a good customer service gesture would be something like free cold beverages. The staff did not apologize at all. They didn’t even put a fan in there. The hotel daily parking is $58+ if you want in and out privileges The soap and shampoo amenities were nice. The checkin staff were very nice. The pillows were rather lumpy so if that matters to you I would not recommend this hotel The food options in the area are fantastic
