Hotels.com and Home 2 suites both left me high and dry. I booked the room through hotels .con and showed up at midnight and was told no rooms were available. I was turned away and had to find a room myself in the middle of the night at another hotel. I’ve been turned down for a refund, how do I prove I showed up???

The hotel shuttle from the airport was very slow to arrive. It took over an hour after a few phone calls. The manager told me I was impatient and should expect to wait another half hour or more. The room was fine, although the shuttle episode soured our first impressions so we're not sure we would ever stay there again.
