Disappointed with the cleanliness of this place

Diana at the front desk was very helpful but this place has lost its appeal with it’s current condition. Had to get a change of room because the bathe tub had a good amount of rust and around the tub itself had mold. The other room was even worse. Tub didn’t have rust but had more mold and to make things worse, the toilet was broken and the water kept running all throughout our stay there. The room itself had an unpleasant smell and my best guess is because of the carpets or the ac itself. Either way, we were disposed and I felt bad to go ask for another change of room so we just took one for the team but I would not recommend this place until it gets a good cleaning/renovation.

I had to call the hotel HQ for someone to try and contact reception after waiting outside for 25 mins. They were as surprised as I was that the hotel had NO staff. Eventually some drugged up absent kid showed up in a daze. Worked like a zombie and got the key card wrong as well so I had to walk down with all my luggage to get a new key. Worst hotel worker I have ever met. In contrast the lady this morning was fun, pleasant and customer service minded. I will never book a Red Roof Inn again.
