My room required attention. The bulb in one of the ceiling lamps was out, one of the chair's upholstery looked like it came from a den of cats, the bathroom sink backed up nearly immediately once the water was turned on, the soap bottle in the shower was empty and there were stains on the bathroom door, about 16" above the doorknob, that appeared to be faeces. I asked to speak with the hotel manger the morning after arrival and was told he wasn't available. I left a note for him detailing these issues. That night nothing was addressed. The following morning I asked again, was told he was on a conference call, but would be reminded of the problems. I asked for a bar of soap and was told they had none, but the bottle would be replaced. That night again nothing was addressed. The following day i received an e-mail from the manager apologizing for the lack of response and action. I detailed the problems once again and asked they be attended to. He apologized for the lack of response. That night i found nothing had been addressed yet again. This time I was shocked, disappointed and angry. To have the manager's acknowledgment yet no action was both insulting and deplorable. I asked for a refund for my stay. He offered a partial reimbursement. I asked for a full refund or his superiors e-mail address. He said no, to both! In 40 years of business travel I have never, ever felt so ignored and completely overlooked. I recommend you stay absolutely anywhere but this property.
