I’ve tried this hotel twice. Both times it’s been okay, but not great. This time, I reserved a room with a kitchen, specifically so I could cook since it was about 5 degrees outside. The listing said the kitchen was stocked with all amenities. There was next to nothing. A single frying pan and single sauce pan. A melted and broken spatula. Some cups and plates. Not one knife. An oven was advertised but no pans for it. No purpose for advertising a full kitchen without the things to use in it. Cleanliness: the shower was full of hair. 4 different places in shower with hair. Needless to say, I chose not to shower until I got home the next day, which was not ideal. Really disappointing. Also, the Expedia pictures show a couch for the room we reserved but there is no couch area. They should update photos as this is not the fault of the hotel. Please be aware that hotel parking is $55 and you can wait quite a long time for your car to come at pick up. I wasn’t expecting the world, but the lack of kitchen amenities and lack of control of the temperature in the room just made it not worth trying again. I didn’t write about my first try because it was almost a year ago and seemed to be all different staff.

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of almost everything in downtown. The rooms are okay, though not exceptional. The building also houses residential condos, the gym is well-maintained and clean.

Wonderful staff. Large room. Quite clean. Pleasantly surprised to have a kitchenette. Unusually cold weather and the room's heating system wasn't quite up to the task. Some dated features (worn upholstery, remnants of obsolete baseboard heating, stained grout, not the greatest bathroom ventilation.

Pretty good value for money. Parking was expensive, $55 a night with few other options, but that is normal in Philadelphia. Room was spacious, but only one big room (with nice kitchen wall), but no separate area to sit, and no couch. Shower did not have a grab bar or a fan, but was well lit and functional. As promised, the view was of downtown and quite nice.
