Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
Daniel and Joseph were very accommodating and helpful hosts. The room was very clean, I just wish the Internet signal could’ve been a little steadier at times for a better TV reception but that’s about the only minor complaint I would have. The room was quite modern with the shower, looking brand-new and always providing great water-pressure relief. It would’ve been nice to have a room with a view or window outside, but being in one of the interior rooms without-a-view at least meant less noise from outside also.
While not near the beaches or entertainment areas, the bus down into Phillipsburg (& Great Bay Beach) and its waterfront boardwalk or out to the French Quarter, where you can transfer for Orient Beach and the beautiful Grand Case beach, was literally right at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the hotel for $2 transit convenience. Lots of taxis pass through there too for a $20per trip average fee. Café Rembrandt and a Shawarma shop open till 3 AM across the street provided some late night eating convenience when needed as did Susanna‘s Dominican café just a few yards down the hill.
If driving, there is a gas station right next-door to the hotel also. Overall, this wound up being a really good place for me to stay as it helped familiarize me with parts of the island that I otherwise would not have seen in all likelihood.
Really clean, quiet facility with a little nighttime terrace overlooking the Phillipsburg skyline & bay is there to utilize as well.
