Your own vehicle is necessary for getting to the property and for exploring Philipsburg. There are no taxis or driving services available in the area. It is highly recommended that you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle with reliable tires in the winter months, Montana weather is unpredictable and the roads can become icy or covered in snow. Chains or snow tires are highly recommended November-April. The road to the cabin is regularly plowed.

To ensure a comfortable and safe stay, please be aware of the following:
Fireplace: For safety reasons, the indoor wood-burning fireplace is not available for guest use. The home is kept warm and cozy with reliable central heating.
Wildlife: You are in the heart of the wilderness. Sightings of deer, bear, fox, and moose are common and a wonderful part of the experience. Please enjoy them from a safe distance and never feed the animals.
Garage Access: The attached and detached garages are private property and are not included in the rental.

This cabin offers its guests barbecue grills and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
