This beautiful condo is in the middle of everything, so no car required! Just steps away, you'll find fabulous local restaurants and plenty of shopping options. Enjoy the views from the large front windows or spend the afternoon at the shared pool.

This rental is located right off of the Arizona Canal Trail, one of the longest multi-use trails in Arizona. You'll be only three blocks from Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, which offers several high-end stores and restaurants to choose from. You will have plenty of dining and entertainment options in downtown Scottsdale (which is half a mile down the landscaped canal trail), including community events, history and art museums, relaxing spas, galleries, and Cactus League games.

It was disappointing in so many ways. The pots and pans were disgusting, some rusty and chipping. No salt, no tissues, no coffee filters, food left in cabinets, which desperately need to be cleaned on the inside. No plastic wrap or foil. Only two wine glasses. Inside of dishwasher was filthy. No dish drainer. Kitchen towels shredded and left lint on everything you dried. Some facecloths were stained. Shower head in main bedroom is horrible. Dresser drawers don’t close properly. I requested more hangers and cleaning agents (there were none) which was fulfilled promptly. Overall, the condo needs to be updated and cared for. For what we paid we are not happy!

The pool was not heated, the tv did not work, the lock on the door did not well, on our last day we were locked out and we had to employ a locksmith to open the door. The blinds would not open… we would not rent this unit again

*HVAC noisy and blew directly on the main room bed* water pressure was lousy* key was not lit up and unable to see at night* key code too long and complicated* entire condo needed a redo * dishwasher was cheap and instruction strip fell off* kitchen had only 2 coffee mugs couple glasses* Wi-Fi instructions were incorrect* remotes worked poorly and no additional batteries were furnished*Window treatments were antiquated, fell off and strips were broken* rug was cheap worn and coming up in places* some chairs were literally falling apart and dangerous. *. Mike, property manager, can vouch for a number of these complaints

Not the greatest place, but also not the worst.

Overall staying at this property was underwhelming. The house and location was cute but not worth the money. If you are coming for a quick trip and need a last minute place to stay, then this would be convenient, but do not book if you expect a luxury property. To start, when you walk in there is an overcompensating amount of air freshener to cover what me and my partner assumed to be a slight scent of cigarette smoke soaked into the carpet. There was also multiple stains within the carpet. The property is also very dark, and when going to open up the blinds, we noticed about a quarter of them were missing in each set. There were the fallen broken blinds hanging in the master bedroom closet. I made an effort to try to rehang some of them to give our bedroom and living room more privacy. We could also hear the next door neighbors clear as day and every word of their conversation. We did not get a good night sleep here because when the heating system would turn on it sounded like an airplane taking off, it constantly made a loud clicking sound throughout the night, and the vent was directly pointing at the blinds in the master bedroom which caused them to clank together whenever the system was running. Both showers have TERRIBLE water pressure, and the one in the hall bathroom wouldn’t let us turn on the shower head, only the faucet. In conclusion, the place was “eh”. Not terrible, but not fantastic. Wouldn’t come back or recommend.

Disappointed

Pros: Location. Downtown Scottsdale a short walk away. Access to walking / jogging path. Communication Prior to arrival excellent. Cons: Property feels like the apartment of a 6th year college student. Furniture in living room is very dated - ripped and torn. Carpet is old and needs to be replaced. Air vents are very dirty and need to be cleaned. Master bedroom lighting is horrible. Different type bulbs in each light. Blind in Master is missing a panel. Kitchen utensils are dated and old - coffee pot should be replaced. Finally, upon arrival the TVs in each of the bedrooms were not working. Communication and action by Vacasa was poor. It took 5 days and a Direct TV technician to resolve. No follow-up from Vacasa. Most disappointing was the fact that none of this was apparently checked prior to our arrival. Will look elsewhere in the future.

Clean, comfortable

The unit was clean and comfortable, and essentially as advertised. I would not stay there again unless they fixed some annoying features: 1. The sliding doors to the patio had vertical hanging plastic slats for curtains. Some were missing, some were broken or bent, and they did not slide along the rod due to friction. If you’re tall enough, you can manually push the stuck hangers along the rod to open them. The plastic slats clatter when the HVAC blows. Especially in the bedroom. All night. If you want to read after sunset, you have to do it in the bathroom. The bedroom had but one dim bulb for illumination. 2. The front door keypad lock code was nine (!) digits. The pad is not illuminated, so you’ll need to bring a flashlight for night use. 3. There was no welcome booklet with helpful facts, just a binder with some map xeroxes. It referred to filling out a parking form, but there was no form. The communications from manager were disjointed. The keypad combo to enter the unit and the very necessary instructions on how to use it were in separate communications (one email, one in app). The keypad combination they gave us to the back gate of the complex (which was the usual entry from the parking spot) was missing the first two digits, which a helpful neighbor provided or we’d never have been able to use it. Those things might not bother everyone, but we found them annoying. Otherwise, it was a nice unit.

Nice location. Living room furniture is well worn and needs to be replaced. TV in the master bedroom did not operate properly. Seems to be a Direct TV box issue. No hand towels available to dry hands.

Outdated dump. Bed was terribly soft, very difficult to sleep on. The plumbing made noises on almost a constant basis, also making it difficult to sleep. When we arrived there was no internet so we had to find the wifi router and connect it. Will probably choose a hotel on our next trip rather than VRBO if I am not refunded some money.

House/condo is cozy and in a great location

The place was perfect for a few friends wanting to be close to all of the attractions of downtown/ Old Town Scottsdale. For the price and the location, hard to beat but remember that as you arrive, minimal updates have been done. All in all nice place and has helpful neighbors.

Property was very comfortable and enjoyed balcony multiple times. Convenient to downtown Scottsdale and everything. Trail around the block.. Comfortable but could use updating. Internet connection not always reliable and had to reboot several times.

Perfect spot for surgery recovery: clean, quiet, all amenities, and fairly priced.

This was perfect. I was delighted to see the accuracy of the listing and how clean it was. The host was super friendly, and a good host offering great recommendations for activities, dinning etc. Definitely oriented towards customer satisfaction. Highly recommended!!

Location, location, location!

This unit was in a fabulous location in Scottsdale close to everything like Fashion Square and Old Town Scottsdale. The bathrooms have been remodeled but the rest of the unit is stuck in the 70's with shag carpet and popcorn ceilings. Once they finish the remodel, this unit will be hot, hot, HOT!

The good, the bad, and the ugly

We had high hopes for Casa Feliz (unit #24). We had just stayed the prior 2 weeks at another condo (Saguaro Sunrise) a couple miles north for a similar price. We gave Saguaro Sunrise 5 stars. However Casa Feliz was in a different class. The Good * Location * Staff * Cable TV The Bad This building was from the 1960s, and there had been little renovation since then. At this price point we expected more. Like a DVR to time shift programs, modern appliances, washer & dryer in the unit, etc.. Many things were broken, like: * two drawers in the master bedroom were off their tracks * towel bar in the master bath was broken * derailed guest shower door The Ugly Carpet was very old with many stains, probably original 60s shag carpet. The kitchen sink was disgusting, and the walls were dirty. Living room furniture was stuffed Naugahyde with many holes It seemed like student housing. We cannot recommend this condo.

The bedding in the master bedroom had an odor and looked like it was not cleaned. The manager was prompt in replacing the bedding when notified. The carpet needed to be cleaned or replaced. Each toilet had microorganism growth around the water surface in the bowl. Master shower had hair on the drain cover.

Good location and fine for a young family
