The property is undergoing an extensive refit and conversion to become a Marriott (Fairfield) property. The rooms were clean and spacious, but the service is very limited. The staff on property were not overly helpful and didn't seem to know what was happening. The on-site breakfast was essentially non-existent. I was told the coversion would be done in two weeks.

We’re a family of four (2 teenagers) that stayed for one night on our way to our final destination. We selected a room with 2 queen beds. We were nicely surprised when it came with a pull out sofa too! Room was cleaned. The bathroom was a bit tight when you open the door. Kids barely could it in it to brush up for bed. The room had a smell to it. We couldn’t tell if it was a smoked room or the type of cleaners used. Once we turned up the air it was fine. Oscar, the front desk clerk, was super friendly and helpful. We asked for sheets on the way out to dinner and he had it ready for us when we returned! We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is still undergoing renovations. However, it did not impact our stay. What made our experience poor was the lack of food items that were supposed to be provided for breakfast. The food table was picked clean in the morning and the staff was oblivious. The breaking point was on the second day of a 4 day stay, the coffee machine broke. There was no coffee for the last 2 days of our trip. The management should have gone out of their way to bring coffee in. Also, even after asking, no one cleaned our room for our entire stay. This is supposed to be a Marriott property. The property itself was very nice, but unless the management gets the basic things like breakfast and coffee upgraded, I would never recommend staying here.

So they are under construction. No notes on the expedia site. Stated there was breakfast. Did not have breakfast just continental. And mostly for children. Muffins were less than mini size as were the donuts. Hardly any fruit. There was NO REGULAR coffee! Yogurt were like 2 maybe 4 ounces. Same with fruit cup. Front desk might guy was great. Not so much morning girl. Of course she is fielding alot of complaints i am sure about the coffee. Also you can’ enter through front door. Sign says enter through ‘breakfast’ door. As if one knew where that was!! Just right to the door was a cone and tape to keep you from going immediately to the right… it was crazy! Overpriced fronlack of service…

They've made a nice renovation. The staff was really welcoming and accommodating, especially the woman at the front desk during the day. Its been about 7 years since Ive stayed here. I usually stay at the hotel next door every year for spring training, but this place will definitely be on my radar from now on. The only this hotel needs to work on was the breakfast. Oatmeal, coffee, bagels and juice. It was disappointing. I specifically chose this place because of the "breakfast" and the close proximity to the stadium. But.... it was lacking.

Seems to have gone through major renovations. They were still doing some work, which didn't interfere with our stay. Breakfast was pretty basic, they ran out of a lot of items. No nspkins coffee creamers knoves.

Disappointing to say the least. This property was undergoing construction. We drove past it because you couldn’t even see an entrance. Our TV was broken. We had to leave our hotel and walk to another one just to watch the Laker game. I was told I’d be getting a refund and still have not. I’d choose a different hotel!

We were suddenly faced with a plumbing issue causing us to need to tear up the kitchen and bathroom floors for repairs. "1 day!" The plumbers claimed. Thank heavens for the Scottsdale Hotel! We bugged out of the apartment and left it to the workmen and we stayed at the Scottsdale for 3 nights and the better part of 4 days ( which is how long it really took to get the water flowing back to our home). We were already stressed so to have a safe quiet place to while away the repair hours was wonderful. The grounds and facility are being renovated but the stay was not bothered by noise or inconvenienced in any way. The rooms are nice and they have a pool. They advertise breakfast but I read the reviews before hand so came prepared with our own option. Everything worked, the microwave. Fridge, TV and remote etc. but it could have been cleaner. There was dust in the corners but nothing gross. The location is great. Near downtown and shopping with many food and entertainment options. Over all we had a great visit for a reasonable price. The breakfast was, as expected, very limited. But there was coffee! Amen.
