Parking garage elevator was broke upon entering. Had to schlep 2 bags down 3 stairs to lobby. Night clerk was condescending when hearing my complaint. Hotel tired and should not be able to use Crown Plaza name. Extremely disappointed

Bathroom not to the correct standard

I can really late they gave me a room that had a really low sink the bathroom sink was under my knee after checking in I went to let them know that I did not book an handicap room-. The girl first said that I booked it that way chick I did not then started to argue with me involving the maid that this is the standard for all the room I told her so I am the tallest person in Arizona ? This was a joke !!! I am still wondering what happen I showed her the picture she did not care and was very rude and not helpful I slept and let left asap the next morning. This was the wrist hotel I have stayed in Phoenix I will not stay there agai !! This is a 1 start hotel I stayed in many hotel for work I am still chocked with this room

It was a terrible stay. I've stayed in many hotels and this one was not good at all. Upon our arrival I was notified that there is a $100 per day incidental hold on my credit card per night. When I entered the room it smelled dirty, the sheets had what looked like oil or some kind of stain on the comforters. They smelled dirty. There was something sprayed all over the sitting chair, furniture had peeling, and floor lamp was broken, large black marks on the wall by the door and the shower head was broke from the wall leaving a hole. I stuffed a wash cloth in the hole. My husband and I were kept awake throughout the first night and woese on the second night kept my husband awake all night. He went downstairs to lodge a complaint with the gentleman at the front desk. The gentelman at the front desk comped the parking fee. I woud not reccomment this htoel to anyone.

We Like it, but could use a little Customer BuffUp

Customer Service is "IFFY" at times. Some employees that answer the phones for airport transport are quick to answer before hanging up. Another employee wrote our room Number on the Key card, but we couldn't read it. (Need some practice writing). We landed once on a Friday night, to find the bartender 'by herself.' Slammed by the Spring Baseball fans. We felt bad for her. Our room was missing the luggage rack and the bath/shower spout was stuck. My husband explained it to the front check out. Parking is SAFE, but I wish that customers would get a little discount, instead of the full price per night at $12.00 a day. There is no drinking water, unless you purchase it.? weird for a Phoenix hotel. We like that it is close to the airport and the RAIL system.

Here’s the thing. We had a great stay at this property. The food served in the bar and the ambience there were excellent. The breakfast cooked to order was the best of our weeklong vacation. The convenience of being able to take the Sky Train from the Rental Return Center directly to the hotel was so convenient and cost nothing. The airport shuttle runs 24 hours. All the staff and wait people we’re perfect. The bed was very comfortable. So why not five stars? The property is old and is in need of a general facelift. The public areas are OK but the hallways and our room looked really old. The carpets all need to be replaced. The lighting in general seemed dim. Crown Plaza really should take care of this. as other than This one complaint which is a pretty big one the place and our stay was great.

Location to airport is fantastic however lots of homeless people wandering nearby. We felt safe walking to nearby convenience store during the day. Access to local rail very convenient and super affordable. Hotel and amenities are good but the bathroom was tired with poorly maintained caulk. Slightly noisy location of our room on third floor facing highway.
