The functioning of shower is unpredictable. Even whe setting is cold, it is giving very hot water. When try to adjust, no change to temp. On the furst day, the tap for shower was broken. The furniture was broken and cracked. It is historic hotel. If you want to go back 50 years, this is perfect for you.

Pretty much no AC it’s from the whole building so it’s very warm in the rooms and that’s in November. One tiny vent for the AC to come out of. Ceiling fan doesn’t do much and it was super hot and cramped. I can’t imagine the temperature in summer. Beds also not comfortable at all and pillows like rocks. Very small rooms and historic downstairs is cool but the rooms are just super old. The location is about the only thing going for this hotel.

The room was very quaint and we loved that they kept it very vintage. It really was a great place to stay.

The bed sheets were dirty- the shower was very dated and super short shower head (where its placed). Bathroom is awkwardly placed shelves. TV remote did not work.

Parking was HORRIBLE, you have to park 1.5 blocks away at $18 a day, not handicap accessible, there was a step to get in to the bathroom, there was no space between the bed and the door to maneuver a walker, people were wandering the halls during the night, apparently doing a ghost tour? It's downtown Phoenix, so enjoy the Hobos and open drug use. We checked out after 1 night of our planned 3.

Yes this was a terrible room. An extension run along the baseboard was the power to the ancient tv. There are no plugs to charge devices. Except in the dated bathroom that only worked with the light on. There are no sprinklers and with the electrical violations I felt extremely unsafe. There is much more to say but I will warn you to pay a little more and be safe.
Bathroom has a 10” step up. Oldest plumbing I’ve ever seen and I’m 76 years old.
Tv cabinet and tv is Ancient piece of furniture hooked up to an extension cord wired into the ceiling.
