Really wonderful, well appointed little apartment for two in Rio Mountain Estates. It's a perfect location for outdoor adventure/recreation or jumping into Fountain Hills. The interior is nicely designed and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessities for meal preparations. Above all Donna and Steve were generous and accommodating hosts. We look forward to coming back next year.

Peace and Quiet

What a great rental! It has everything you need: separate entrance with outside area, great layout with a bonus office / work area, off-street covered parking that is close to the casita entrance, all the accommodations are both modern and clean, the hosts are amazing, and the location is close enough to run errands/work/etc but yet it is removed enough to still feel a sense of rural or removal from the busy areas so you can relax. Also, it is a great location for cycling! Overall, I would stay here again without question!

5 stars all around!

This property is wonderful for a quiet getaway to the McDowell Mountain area. My husband and I came to work remotely during the weekdays and hike in the afternoons and over the weekend. This was perfect for us. The accommodations are modern and clean with everything we needed. The internet was fast. We were about 20 minutes away from shopping and restaurants and that suited us just fine. The host was extremely responsive and a great communicator. I highly recommend this property!

Rural Retreat

The casita was perfect for the two of us. Comfortable bed, full kitchen...everything you need. Location was perfect ....close to family, birding and observing wildlife, hiking, biking and just enjoying the desert foothills. Thank you Donna and Steve.

Beautiful and cozy casita

This quiet and beautiful space exceeded expectations! It is even better than pictured. The owners are very nice and communicate well. I stayed as a getaway while visiting my family in the area so I could get good sleep, and I did just that! Also there was a space where I could work one day at a nice desk while looking at beautiful mountain views. I also enjoyed the outdoor areas which had comfortable chairs and a rooftop where the pretty Arizona sunrises and sunsets could be seen. I highly recommend this property, and can’t wait to go back again!

Quiet and clean.

Had two hard days of work to do nearby and found this great spot to rest and recover. The place was very clean excellent furnishings Think this is a great launch point for the north Scottsdale area.
